15.5
16.8
18
19.2
20.5
That should be easily tradeable.
Can you do the math on a supermax contract pls ?those are the numbers I've seen and it reflects setting a target at 90M and getting there with max step raises
and yes, it should be tradeable
18M = 1.5M/month = 346K/week = 49K/day - $2055/hour = $34.24/minute.....every minute of every hour of every day for 5 years. I could live on that

was waiting for this. thankshttps://www.nba.com/blazers/video/2021/8/10/norm-powell-sits-down-with-brooke-olzendam
Here is Norm's interview with Brooke.

Hey bald is beautiful right, except for me.Oh my fucking god. The number of times Norm has mentioned "net-rating" in reference to Neil makes me want to pull my hair out.
Yeah, I really do think the articles that have said that Dame is going to give this a shot for the first two months of the regular season and then ask to be traded by the deadline if it's no good or a blockbuster isn't made... sound about right. I doubt those articles are properly sourced like they've claimed but it makes sense to me regardless.Good to hear that Dame has been texting Norm asking him where his head was at throughout this whole process. Doesn't sound like someone that wants to demand a trade this off-season.
Not good to hear how involved CJ is.![]()
Honestly, it's kinda cowardly that they didn't do this at an actual press conference and Neil wasn't there.

It may be a good sign. Neil will at some point before training camp starts, have a press conference and tout his success... even if it's abject failure. The fact that he hasn't done that yet means he's not done and probably thinks he has something impressive up his sleeve. It might be the blockbuster we all want or upgrading DJ with a draft pick or two and regardless he might just say he tried and it didn't happen but then he'll say bringing in Chauncey, re-signing Norm and the bench being retooled makes him the greatest thing ever.Honestly, it's kinda cowardly that they didn't do this at an actual press conference and Neil wasn't there.
I like numbers, and think they can help us see some things that are not obvious with good 'ol eye test....Norm sounds happy but he specifically mentioned Neil as being a "numbers guy" and how he kept saying how good the net rating with the starting line-up was.
I think we know who has been feeding Quick his information, and why Quick went from "CJ will be definitely by traded" to "Blazers are gonna run it back" so quickly.![]()
Why did they turn off comments on the YouTube vid???

The Norm deal is a bigger win for us than most think....I thought it was a great interview.
