I liked Cam Whitmore in the 2023 draft and on offense he can be really good going to the hoop or hitting 3-pointers.

But his defense can be comical / tragic at times. Here was one of those moments against tonight's opponent for the Blazers (Minnesota) on Thursday.

Whitmore seems to like to leave his man to help unnecessarily, which is what he did here.

He had no idea where his man, well-known 3-point shooter Naz Reid, was so in an attempt to to deflect the pass leapt in the air with a nice kung-fu move.

Except Naz Reid had moved closer to the baseline and Cam was flying in the air nowhere near the pass.

The race for the Western Conference playoffs is fantastic. Watching the Mavs - Rockets game which is in Dallas.

The Rockets are trying not to lose 6 games in a row.
