I don’t see parity. I see a whole lot of teams hovering around .500. If the goal is 4th seed, yes there is parity. If goal is title, there are only a few teams in the running. For those of you who think you are arguing with me about if the West is wide open to us as our roster is constituted... I'm not making that argument. I'm saying that there is no dominant team in the league this season. Yes Denver is really good and so are the Celtics and Bucks but I could see any of those teams getting upset in the first round with the parity in the league right now. What I am trying to say is that because there is no dominant team the time to use every asset we have to get in the running is right now, not this summer, now. I think if we leveraged all of our draft assets we could both balance the roster and add a second all star/all nba player.
If we swing for the fences now, we could contend as early as this season but at the very least we would get the roster we would end up with some playoff experience together and be starting next season steps ahead of where we will be if we sit on our hands right now or make some Olsheyish-deckchair-shuffling-bullshit-moves.
I don't see how Denver has differentiated themselves that much, or anyone else for that matter. Denver is on pace to win 55 games... that's not impressive. Our 2018-19 team which was incredibly flawed won 53 games that season. So I just see a lot of parity and it plays out that way with these first and second place teams losing to cellar dwellers. You might think it's a runaway and that's fine for you to have that opinion, I think this is the season where a lower seed could win it all... and if we made big moves we could not just win it all as a lower seed but make a big jump into a higher seed. 32 games left and 5.5 games out of third.I don’t see parity. I see a whole lot of teams hovering around .500. If the goal is 4th seed, yes there is parity. If goal is title, there are only a few teams in the running.

Sir Denver would sweep us 4-0.I don't see how Denver has differentiated themselves that much, or anyone else for that matter. Denver is on pace to win 55 games... that's not impressive. This roster we have right now isn't going to upset any of those top seeds but if Joe can come up with a giant move and then some small ones to fill in obvious holes then we could definitely beat the the top teams this season because none of them are elite.
Sucks we lost him considering we need front court help and the number of picks it took to draft him.
I'm not able to watch the LA/NYC game, got an update?Jalen Brunson is a winner
OvertimeI'm not able to watch the LA/NYC game, got an update?
Your Lakers won in OT 129-123I'm not able to watch the LA/NYC game, got an update?
Not bad since LeBron has been looking so, what was it the jinx guy called him 3 seasons ago, oh yeah “OLD”!Your Lakers won in OT 129-123
Yeah, Bron is the freakiest athlete in the history of sports. Dude comes in as an 18 year old that looks like he's 27 and is now a 38 year old who plays like he's 27. Still explosive. Still the highest BBIQ on the floor. Not bad since LeBron has been looking so, what was it the jinx guy called him 3 seasons ago, oh yeah “OLD”!
Pelicans are stacked. Rooting for CJ to get to the finals
I wish our roster situation was like there's.Have fun rooting, they aren't getting there anytime soon.

I'd rather have our FOURTH best player be Valacunius (spelling) and own the Lakers pick this June.Where our best player has only played in 114 of 268 games?
Pass.

and all that and they're (checks records) 2 games better.
They're built on a faulty foundation. Zion will never be healthy. He's even worse than Anthony Davis.

Denver has the best player in the world and now his supporting cast is healthy and they have taken their lumps in the playoffs so they’re seasoned and ready to go. I’d say they are elite, 55 wins is a great season. Warriors only won 53 last year. Were they not elite?? It’d be great if Blazers could win title this year but dammit, it’s a good year to be in the lottery and right now, that’s exactly where we are 50 games in. Tanking into the #5 lottery spot gives us the best chance to win a title with Dame in my opinion. Getting VW or Scoot or trading the pick for the second star you covet is the best way to go. Trading Sharpe for OG would be terrible even if we reached the Finals and lost. Sharpe has superstar potential. We can’t afford to throw that away unless you’re getting Giannis or Embiid or Jokic. Dame’s not going anywhere so we don’t have to win THIS YEAR. In my opinion.I don't see how Denver has differentiated themselves that much, or anyone else for that matter. CJ is not a role player lol. And I know it sucks but everyone in the league should be rooting for Lakers and Pelicans. Can’t afford Pelicans getting VW or Scoot.the Pelicans are so "stacked", they have lost 9 games in a row and have a 3-14 record over their last 17 games. They have gone from a record of 11 games over .500 to a .500 record. They have gone for the #1 seed & HCA to the #11 seed. They are 1 game ahead of Portland (Blazers own tie-breaker right now)
yes, Zion and Ingram have been injured (but Ingram has been back for the last 3 losses), but a truly "stacked" team would not collapse in that fashion. That's the collapse of a pretender
the Pels have talent, more than Portland, but their two best talents are injury magnets, and the rest of the roster is role players
Valuciunas is a little better than Nurkic, Portland's 4th best player, but not by a lot
by the way, the Pels only own the Laker's pick if they swap their own. Right now, barring massive lottery luck, the Pels would be swapping the 14th pick for the 9th pick. Not quite the jackpot that some are thinking
by the way, part 2: Zion is trapped in the dreaded "to be re-evaluated in 2 weeks" injury vortex. he had a 2 week re-evaluation a week ago, and the Pels said he'd be re-evaluated in 2 weeks
