I understood him perfectly fine. I'm glad he said what he said, as he's right. It is BS that the league allows this crap to happen. And I realize it might sound like I'm trying to pull a fast one and suddenly side with ET, but I'm siding with the coach. He had the balls to say what 95% of NBA fans feel. It's beyond a joke now.

The Blazers are supposedly for sale. Clearing out used inventory, and awaiting several brand new models. The new owner will get the opportunity to find high horsepower players on the market, and raise checkered flags across the lot.

As long as you don't mind paying luxury tax, you can players any amount you want. Ballmer is probably the richest owner in the NBA as well.
 
Wemby triple double in 21m. Pistons fans are boiling after seeing what could have been their pick, but the NBA gave them #5 instead.

Curious when people point out the FT differential in games. I swear on everything when they bitch in the game threads on here about our Blazers.....if you look.....we are taking stupid iso fade away 18 footers all game long. You aren't going to get those calls on that shit. People need to actually look at the game play. You damn well know that the refs reward teams that take it to the hoop. Dame would get 5 phantom calls a game whenever he was patient and just took it to the rack.

The Blazers should get that game next year vs. Spurs. Give our international kids a chance to shine against Wemby.
 
NBA draft going to be 2 nights ..... WTF are they thinking ?

This makes zero sense unless they want to expand the draft to 3 rounds and maybe make the 3rd round kind of a G-League thing like these guys have a reserved spot on a g-league team if they want it. However the more I think about it not even sure that makes sense but at least there would be a reason to do it unlike now.
 
Because misery loves company. Headline in SF Chronicle sports section: The Crisis is Real. After Warriors lost by 30+ at home. Reportedly everyone but Stephen Curry is available for trade.
 
Lamelo coming back soon. Pretty good timing. With only one game between us and Charlotte, we likely will overtake them for the 4th best odds. With five games between them and Memphis, it’s likely they’re fixed into the 5th best odds, so we’ll land pick #35. Guys like Herb Jones and Nic Claxton get picked in that range. Guys don’t need “star potential” to completely change the trajectory of this team.

The game differential between ATL and MEM for the 6th best odds is 1.5. So another pick between #36-38 to get excited about.

I'd be a little surprised if they use all three picks. At some point you can't develop everyone.

We have a GL team. 2nd rounders aren’t guaranteed.

Also, we have four picks lol. We could easily draft and trade a highly touted PG like Dillingham to a team desperate for a PG, and grab their ‘25 1st in addition to trading down for Missi or something like that. Having more picks gives you more options. Having more picks isn’t a bad thing.

Let’s not pretend like this isn’t a good problem to have lol.

No, it's a great problem. But it's why I wouldn't mind if the picks we get in upcoming trades aren't for a few years out. And the truth is, we aren't going to hit on every pick. The only guy that does that is Sam Presti.
 
Jazz just eclipsed .500 ball. The Lakers were latest victims. AD 5-21 shooting. Utah shut the big man down.
