Not the biggest stats guy....... but Wood was ranked 35th in the NBA in rebounding and averaged more last year than
Draymond, Jaren Jackson jr, Brook Lopez, Jalen Brown, Aaron Gordon, Banchero.......all while being a good 3pt shooter.

The dude is the very definition of fools gold. He looks great on paper, but he has been ditched by three teams in three years. The Mavs needed help and they massively reduced his minutes.

I agree he is fools gold. Something is weird there. But we are talking about the MLE. The fact that he did rebound so well while his minutes were cut may be a plus. I don't really think he is the answer for the Blazers, but I do think he is worth the MLE for someone.

My biggest thing at this point is that anyone we bring in needs to be a solid locker room guy. If there are doubts about work ethic or personality, which seems to be the case with Wood, I would pass.
 
Assuming Dame is gone, I wish we would've signed Wessy Wes 2
 
Phila: if they don't trade harden, they lose him for nothing next summer. He will eventually get traded to LAC, I think. It's just a matter of for what return
 
Dwight Howard has always been extremely irritating and trying to be more relevant than what he actually is; nothing new here.

What team has 35+ mil in cap space to sign him? Does that team want him? Does he want them?
This is the new reality for the capstapped NBA.

I don't know if that surprises me or not, actually it doesn't. I forgot I know a really shitty story about Dwight that I shan't repeat but reveals him to be a bit of a sociopath. Did Nic say why?

This was while he was in Charlotte playing with him. He said Dwight would yell at his teammates in the locker room if he didn’t give him the ball when he demanded it. Nico said he couldn’t believe it. Said if anybody questioned him , he would try to fight.

What happens if one is traded?
There were two NBA players so tight my gaydar was at 10. One was traded and neither was the same again.
