Exclusive OFFICIAL AROUND THE NBA: NOVEMBER 2024

Are the Wolves any good? They lost to us twice and now they’re struggling against severely hobbled Suns.

Anthony Edwards 59th in the NBA in PER. Surprisingly worse than last year.

I used to rely on Vecsey’s column in NY Post for NBA rumors/news before the internet. His columns were hilarious and informative. He brings nothing to the table now. Sad.

Trades that will never happen!

Feel free to post how bad KAT is playing defense…..I’d take this offense all day, every day FAMS!

Youd think with Bridges Hart OG they should be able to figure out a system to still have a high level defense. The wolves had a great defense last year. If the Knicks can figure out how to have a KAT defense it might turn out being a great trade.

I like the deal for Minnesota too though. Gobert Towns wasn't a good duo and they had major luxury tax issues with his contract. Knicks are lucky they have Brunson taking a big paycut.

Yeah, me too. He's been angry and bitter since he suggested "Magna Carter" as a nickname for Vince Carter and at the same table Kenny Smith suggested the (moronic) "Half man, half amazing" and that's the one that caught on.

I didn't think they would be a good duo, but last year proved me wrong. They reached the WCF with a tiny 36-year-old PG.
True there were luxury tax issues but they got worse.

Should have compared contracts here as well

Was crazy Denver let's Bruce Brown and KCP walk then gives an injured Murray the supermax. He's basically CJ production, never been All NBA, never been an all-star.

I guess he was all rookie 2nd team, congrats.

Actually seems like a Blazers move, both being cheap and handing out overpaid contracts at the same time.

I always thought it was horrible how Lillard was never paired with great teammates here, somehow the Nuggets have treated Jokic worse.

It's especially weird because up to acquiring Gordon, they'd done such a great job at roster building. Losing Bruce Brown was understandable but letting KCP walk was nuts given his role.

Speaking of those who have struggled with their shot early in the season with a new team.

listening to the post game yesterday, it was funny how Danny talked about how Block Lobster could become a defensive player of the year, if it wasn't for Wemby, Jackson and someone else (I forget who). Yet, he's averaging more blocks per 100 plays (or whatever it is), and opponents are shooting a much worse % in the paint when he's playing than the other two.

I'm not saying he IS better than those guys defensively, but that usually a rookie doesn't come into the league with those gaudy kind of stats this soon. His numbers, while they may not continue to be this crazy, should stay close to this level and in some cases, improve the quality of his defense.

He's still not in game shape (but he's getting better every game) and honestly, he's not really muscular/strong like he could be after a season or two of working out in an NBA quality system.
