Well not sure why he would "fake and bake" but I do know why he would not want to sit out in 115 degree heat. I was there a couple of weeks ago and I never went outside while the sun was out.

As long as I was by a pool I'd eat that shit up.

I see Lillard sitting next to Money Mayweather at the Sac - Dal game. Maybe Dame is looking to upgrade his posse..........

The Kings have a couple 2nd round guys that will make the league. McCallum and Drew Gordon. Both guys can really play. McCallum's one of the guys I really wanted with a 2nd round pick.

It looks like espn3.com will broadcast the Blazer game live at 6:30 PM Eastern (3:30 Pacific)

Gordon used to smash my HS's basketball team. Hes good but his brother is even better, likely lotto pick whenever he comes out (year after next maybe?).

Seeing our bench get their asses kicked in summer league is not a good sign. Hopefully they can put together some good performances, but our bench doesn't look like it will be much improved from last year.

I know CJ looks good, but so did Nolan Smith in summer league.

Withey: 4 points 5 rebounds 1 block on 2-6 shooting.

DraftExpress has Aaron Gordon going #4 overall next year.

The guy just got done absolutely dominating the U-19 tournament, winning the MVP over teammates like Marcus Smart and Jahlil Okafor.

That's my dude.

I love his footwork. So far he has looked great!

Biyombo not so much.

Throughout the whole "draft season" I never really had a favorite prospect. Come draft day, though, I was on the Cody Zeller at #10 bandwagon.

McCollum is a fine pick as well.

Actually I lied. Oladipo was about the only prospect that intrigued me the most throughout the whole thing.

Dennis.

Fucking.

Schroeder.

How the hell do you say his name?

When I first read about him, in my head, I heard it as "Schr-OH-der," then on draft night he was, "Schr-OO-der," and now during the summer league it's "Schr-AY-der."

Which is it?

It probably depends upon which region of Germany you're in. Do you know how to pronounce Louisiana?

None of them. "Oar" without the "r" sound is "awe". "Er" without the "r" sound is "ö". Or just watch this guy:

Jumping in late to this pronunciation game, but for the record the reason it's spelled schroeder and not with an umlaut is because it's super annoying to type an umlaut. When you don't type an umlaut over "a" or "u" or "o", you add an "e" after that letter. "oe" in german sounds like err in error without a heavy r sound.

according to this you say the "i" in "sir" I think tha'ts pretty accurate to my education on the subject.

Good call. It looked like Robert Sacre was better than him last night. Disappointing for sure.

Is it really that surprising that the 24-year old that played at Gonzaga for five years (red shirted his sophomore year after 5 games), three as a starter, has a more mature game than the guy who played two years, one as a starter, at Illinois? Sacre has pretty much reached his full potential. Leonard hasn't. Maybe he never will, but at this point, Leonard has a lot more potential for growth and that's why he was drafted at 11. Olshey realized he was a project that would take at least 3 - 4 years to develop. Let's check back at summer league three years from now, when Leonard is the same age Sacre is now, and see how he's doing. If he's still getting outplayed by the Robert Sacre's of the world, the Leonard haters "win".

1) If he's still playing in summer league from now, there is be a problem.

2) There's an opportunity cost to developing him.

3) It's possible that he turns into a decent center after 4 or 5 years and then we overpay him, which would be horrific.

I'm happy to be patient if he plays 10-12 mpg.
I'm a hater if he plays 18+ mpg.
If we had another backup center/forward he could play just 10-12 mpg - We don't. It'll be interesting to see how LMA likes playing with Thomas Robinson. If he does, then that could be a solution right there.

I suspect Leonard and Robinson will get about equal minutes. Leonard will back up Lopez and play some center with Aldridge at the 4. Robinson will back up Aldridge at the 4, but also play beside him when we go small.
