Remind who these two teams are mad at and why?

Too bad this game was this early in the season.
Wondering how the Beavs will do against Utah?

Not going to lie, that was the best game I've seen Cam Ward play in his 17 games at Wazzu. Normally he has at least one head scratching drive per half but he put it on OSU all night long. Even then we did our best to keep you guys hanging around and I'm glad to not have to see Martinez/Fenwick again this season. DJ needs to be sent to the bench, having watched him at Clemson and now with you guys, go with the freshman! Best of luck the rest of the way Beavs!

I agree, Chiles should have been given a couple series at the least.

Beavs are betting faves this week hosting the top-10 Utes. Surprising.

Of course, I was also flummoxed by the Ducks being 3-score favorites this past weekend, and we all saw how that turned out.

I think a big part of that is how Vegas gauges starting a freshman QB on the road vs at home. Utah has played 3 at home, and 1 on the road. And the road game was against a bad Baylor team that is 1-3; and Utah's QB didn't have to do much in that game; only passed for 82 yards

the Beavers are a good team, playing at home, after a bad day in Pullman. They will be intense. And it's a short week that will be even shorter for Utah since they have to travel 800 miles for a Friday night game. Everybody saw what Utah's defense did to UCLA's freshman QB. Beavers will try to do the same

of course, the Beavs have a pretty inconsistent QB themselves in Uiagalelei. And that Utah defense is legit.

I'm wondering how the Beaver fans here view Uiagalelei...?

Wow OSU just stuffed Utah on that last possession. Pressure on the qb was incredible. Huge win.

Beavs are strong in Corvallis and their defense will dominate a freshman QB. Utah has been ordinary on the road the last 2 seasons

it's not a good year to go with a freshman QB in the PAC

Can I get a third blood!?

Great game Beavs! Not bad with those ugly blood orange uniforms

Utah got away with a lot of really obvious holding on offense. And the Beavs still stuffed them. Great game!

I don't know anything about the Beavers defense back that wears #1, except that he made too many bad plays. Rookie?

Ryan Cooper Jr. He’s a senior.

at the risk of offending Beaver fans, I'm thinking that Jonathon Smith's good teams remind me a lot of Mike Bellotti's good teams. They both were/are great at taking 2-star and 3-star talent and developing them into 4-star players. Very solid at both lines of scrimmage with no real holes, 2 and 3 deep at RB, aggressive LB's & safeties, speed at WR with good possession skills, and TE's good at blocking and receiving

for Bellotti teams, the difference between his good-great teams and his average teams usually boiled down to his QB's and corner-backs. When he had solid-to-great QB's and good cover corners, he had top-10-ish teams. I think the same is true for Smith

I'm not sure why anyone would take offense to this. Smith is proving to be a very good coach just as Bellotti was. It's no secret that OSU has trouble recruiting above the 2 -3 star level and to accomplish what Smith has the last few years is impressive.

OSU defense played tough football.
Utah had nowhere to go.
