Why? All of those things can be true. You are a smart guy Wiz. Think about it.
The Beavers being bad at recruiting and making in state relationships can be true over the last decade (definitely was on display when Leavitt wanted nothing to do with Smith).

AND being impressed with the short period of time of what Shepard has done can also be true.

Saying the Beavers have had bad recruiting doesn't implicate Shepard. These things can change if he wants them to.

Nah. I'm a Beaver Alum. I absolutely pull for the Ducks until they are playing the Beavers. Then I'm all about pulling for the Orange and Black.

Got way too many friends who went to Oregon and as far as I’m concerned both schools rep the state. On top of that my wife is from Eugene.

I used to root for them, but all their entitled fans that didn't even go to the school and think their the shit just because Nike gives the program a boatload of money annoys the hell out of me.

If they win then whatever at least family that went there is happy. But I always root against them.

Beaver fans really need to push their AD to be vocal and aggressive with the College Football Playoff Committee this offseason. Notre Dame is having a fucking hissy fit that teams like Tulane and James Madison made the playoffs, and they didn't.

The way things are set up now, the Pac-12 has a path to the playoffs. Notre Dame and other butt hurt universities want that to go away.

Our whole family are Ducks and Beav fans. When they play each other, we root for our Mighty Ducks. We also root for the Pilots and Vikes.

Always cracks me up this mentality. My whole family are ducks and I couldn’t afford to go there, so I went into the military. So in your way of thinking I can’t be a Duck fan? That shit’s in my blood. I promise you 10x more than most graduates.
