If Terry Stotts doesn't make an adjustment on defense then he is fucking useless

He is being exposed badly right now. His philosophy sucks and we knew this before the series started.

I hope the refs watch these moving picks by Duncan. If they are allowed to bump our defenders, there's no wonder spurs shooting well

Terry Stotts and his asinine defensive coverage. It's funny we always talk about hiding Dame on defense. But that entire Rockets series hid Terry's ineptitude on defense as well.

Every time we go under the pick, he moves and hip checks because he can't stay in front of our guards. He hasn't been called yet, and I doubt he will.

I do wonder about some of the blocked shots, but it's not hard to have a 19 point lead when you can't miss AND seem to be scoring at will.

Gotta give the spurs a lot of credit, they have gotten into our heads and we are not playing even close to how we usually play. Were setting bad screens, not knowing what to do on PnR coverage or when we get screened.
I really do want to see a fight break out because I don't think there is anyway we win a game unless something changes.

Refs are part of it, but the biggest reason is still the Blazers not playing an inch of defense.

Yep if they called half the fouls, spurs would actually be forced to play straight up defense.

What was the Shooting Percentage this quarter by the spurs ? 70-75% ?

You dont make a run o the spurs. You only hope to keep them from making one. We lost and we are getting swept. This is a wake up call that we need some defensive coaching and a better bench without mo williams.

The PNR becomes infinitely more difficult to defend if the guy setting the pick is allowed to hip check the guard. Duncan does it on every single play.

His fucking defense plays right in to the hands of San Antonio

It's fucking stupid. and predictable. We knew this before the series even started.

Our defense was a little better than game 1. Spurs are just making everything they throw at the rim, and when they miss half the time it bounces right back in their fucking laps or we give up on the play.

Please don't blame this on the refs. This is simply Pops exposing the fact that Terry is a regular season coach, and not a Playoff coach.
The Spurs know EXACTLY where they can get undefended shots - and they put capable shooters in those places. They're getting wide open shots nearly every single time. That's why they're blowing the lid off - two games in a row. It has nothing to do with the refs.

Well, one positive is the Thunder went down 0-2 against the Spurs in WCF and came back to win 4-2. There is a shot.
