Damn if Blazers had beat the Celtics they would be tied for 8th tomorrow when the Grizzlies lose...

Alright go ahead and admit it.

Stotts is coaching this team well right now. Adjustments every game and a different look for all three teams. He is going with hot players and giving the team a chance to win. He has not missed on a challenge and he has called them at crucial times.

God i love Gary Trent

how the hell did the organization hype simons up but not simons ?

I'll certainly take the win, even if it wasn't artistic!

At the risk of pissing people off - I still think replacing Ariza with Zach has been a negative for us.
For this year they're probably pretty similar impact wise.

But I agree that ariza would have been more useful against the teams we've played so far.

Dame really didn't have monster but hit some big 3. CJ hit some key shot too. Melo play very well and plus the dagger 3 at the end. Nurk again was a monster in there and Trent was big again plus he also had dagger 3 at the end. Whiteside play a lot better seems he was in the game mentally. Zach still coming along had decent game he did get 7 boards tonight. Simons hit a 3 in the game still has away to go.

Better athlete. More of the type of talent that could develop into a guy that can play a high usage on ball role.

Gary had the skill set to play a role earlier on.
Very happy and surprised that he's gotten to this point this fast though. Props to him.

So we beat the team the Bucks lost too and lost the game against the team the Bucks beat

nice fucking win. got to hand it to those threes by trent and melo. ace. melo was on tonite. but man houston can shoot those threes...
had portland made more around the rim it would have been a blowout.

Quick guess: who had the best /- in that game, with 13?

WRONG! It was Simons. In 16 minutes. He looked pretty solid doing it, too. Maybe playing in the Bubble suits him - no crowd to get in his head.

So proud of this team. The fight, the grit. This is a no bullshit team, loaded with a ton of character. Melo haters :banghead2: go be sad in your corners. Imagine how good this team will be when Dame gets his stroke going again.

Simons reminds me of a more lanky Rivers, has the hype coming in, will likely be a rotational player most of his career. Trent Jr. reminds me of Wes, a guy who will do whatever you ask, play hard, and make shots.
