I think a read a stat somewhere where teams shoot an extraordinarily low % at the rim against the Rockets relative to what you would expect. Not sure if players just rush their shots because they think bringing the ball down low will get it stripped, but our guys just need to take their time.
If we ever match up with them in the playoffs just have Nas guard our bigs in the post in practice.

I still can’t get over the play late where Melo was stripped going up and came back down with the ball and the ref called traveling. IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!

Rockets 13 FTS, Blazers 5 at halftime

A lot to do with the lack of assisted twos they give up because of all their switching forcing you to go one-on-one.

Teams also try to post up and take advantage of their size which are lower % at rim shots and
while they are small, they've got guys with strength and quick hands.

We're up 5 and we didn't play well. Our bigs are 5 for 18 on easy shots. They should be at least 10 for 18 and in that case, we'd be up by around 15 points instead of 5...

Our defensive rotations behind the trap could be improved. They're a bit too slow and I'd like for us to pressure a bit more with the trap instead of playing it as soft as we are, and we should try to deny the first outlet pass harder.

So we're not playing well, and we're up 5. That's how you know the coaching is actually solid.

Not a great way to finish the half and the rockets are getting their threes up but at least they're mostly above the break and not coming from James harden.

Doing an okay job not putting them on the line but that's more to do with the trapping and living with open threes rather than having both harden and Westbrook pressuring the rim.

Maintain the rebounding advantage and finish a little better around the rim and we should be in a good spot.

Not worried about Dame.

I'm not sure how many more times Lillard is going to have a subpar first half that people flip out about only to have a great second half before people start to understand that the game is more than 24 minutes and more than just points. It blows my my that people still doubt Dame.

there are about 2-3 posters here that will spend every game thread pissing on Dame when he isn't scoring 15 points in a quarter. It's the same people, every thread

Westbrook isn't Dame's nemesis. It's the other way around.
Oh didn't know that. The word Nemesis describes a enemy in germany. Didnt know it has a different meaning in the states

Love it when Harden doesn’t get a foul called on the opposition.

Dame has arrived
