1. That’s just your opinion of Ball... most professional scouts disagree with youLonzo is not a generational talent. Not even close. He may someday be a serviceable starting pg, I’m not opposed to trading CJ, but trading Dame for talent that’s not even close to his is a quick way to be a bottom feeder, by the time Collins and Lonzo are even close to ready to make Portland sort of good, their contracts will be up.
Lonzo can’t shoot, like at all and none of his other skills are good enough to overcome that, he’s not 6’8 and strong like Simmons, Giannis or Lebron.
Dame was 4th in MVP voting and 1st team all NBA and you want to trade him for Prospects that proven absolutely nothing? There’s a lot of history in the NBA of teams trading stars for packages like that and basically never works out for team trading the star.
I’m all for moves to get better but this one doesn’t and it’s it’s pretty unlikely any of those young guys are ever good enough to replace what Dame is.
2. Trade would be for more than just Ball...
3. Trading stars not working is made up by you... you only need to look at Paul George trade last year
