Red states pay for the food, it’s not just random charity. It’s called an economy. There are resources California has to pay for also. You might ask those rural ranchers who grew that food who they voted for while you’re at it.

Have yet to see a blue state refuse to help a red state under natural disaster West coast responders were all volunteering for Katrina ..Oregon sent a bunch of aid..dems voted fo a relief package along republicans.....this shit is just hate fueled by hate. Fuck Tuberman with his confederate flag pole and fuck partisan bullshit in times of disaster. I hope you never have your home threatened by raging fires. I want you to know how cheap and dishonest of a tactic it is to artificially position yourself “alongside the firefighters” while simultaneously inventing a narrative that a person you disagree with on an unrelated issue is “against the firefighters” somehow. It’s really pathetic emotional manipulation.
“Taking cheap shots from safety zones” is exactly what YOU are doing here, not anyone else.

My wife and I had to evacuate our home 8 years ago and I had heart surgery in the middle of that horrible fire right behind the hospital in Springfield...I've also evacuated from Paradise Park in Hawaii over the Volcano erupting.....seen a lot of disasters...my wife's hometown in Taiwan was hit hard by an earthquake not long ago and many people lost businesses and homes...under all of these conditions only red state MAGA jerks are lacking empathy for victims of disasters...most people come together and rebuild...grieve and share during these times. You are definitely more "right" than I am...politically I lean left of center.

You’re cherry-picking. It’s been known for years that not enough is spent on forest management, thinning and clearing underbrush. The first set of fires that took out Paradise should have been a warning but nothing was done still. It’s mismanagement.
