Interesting that they are interested in him instead of Kidd.A team with limited expectations? Sounds like a perfect fit.
No, it wouldn't.You quote me saying "start a Fire Kidd thread now" and imply that means I think nobody is allowed to have a personal opinion on the matter? That's the real unusual and puzzling take.
I'm 100% ok with everyone having an opinion on anything basketball related on this board. In fact, I'm glad there are differing opinions around here; this place would suck if we all agreed.

We’d win a championship every freaking year! If you don’t believe me, just ask some of the more vocal forum members. They should hire this forum to coach the team.
Fan coached.
Thoughts on Juwan Howard?

Probably because they know Kidd would say no.Interesting that they are interested in him instead of Kidd.
Aldo, Labinot, SerbianThey should hold a contest and hire a lucky fan to coach the team
Probably because Minnesota is a young team that doesn’t have playoff aspirations and is quite clearly still building. So Dame want Kidd over David Vanterpool when he criticized the Wolves for not hiring him? lol. My HC picks are Lionel Hollins and JVG or the championship pedigree of Udoka and Becky. Juwan Howard is also should be look at.
Looking at his personal and coaching history, why would you assume this?Probably because they know Kidd would say no.
Steve Clifford left because he didn’t want to go threw a rebuild.
I would assume Kidd will be in play for better jobs.
But Stotts was as responsible for a CHampionship as Kidd was.Probably because Minnesota is a young team that doesn’t have playoff aspirations and is quite clearly still building.
Kidd won a championship last year and has HC experience.
Pretty easy to see why, really.

I don't get you guys wanting JVG. He hasn't been a coach in forever. What makes you think the game hasn't passed him by? The game CLEARLY passed Stotts by.
He had nothing to do with winning that championship. That was Lebron and AD and Co. Kidd was assistant coach who sat on a bench and watched.
You addressed one aspect of what I said. But Stotts was as responsible for a CHampionship as Kidd was.
Alright, still has head coach experience - which dame expressly stated that he preferred. He had nothing to do with winning that championship. That was Lebron and AD and Co. Kidd was assistant coach who sat on a bench and watched.

so by your logic, coaching isn’t a thing.
Or more stupid front offices………..Probably because they know Kidd would say no.
Steve Clifford left because he didn’t want to go through a rebuild.

Even if he did sit on the bench and “watch”, I assume he probably learned a thing or two about *coaching* being part of a championship staff. Hell he even admitted he pretty much learned how to not be a douchebag and to “have more fun” as a coach.so by your logic, coaching isn’t a thing.

Yes, but he seems too rigid and authoritarian (too “old school”) to mesh with today’s players. He has had two opportunities already, had some level of success and wore out his welcome in both places quickly. Plus he’s not exactly a young man anymore. I like the guy a lot but not as a coach…..I think Hollins is a really good, under-the-radar candidate.

Its just funny when fans think they know the inner workings of an nba coaching staff. We have no idea how involved Kidd was or wasn’t in regards to game plans, development, etc. But if the praise is so universal, it’s probably not a smart move to just completely dismiss it.
