STACEY ABRAMS THINKS TARA READE IS LYING ABOUT HER JOE BIDEN SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATION

Former Democratic Georgian gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has said she doesn't believe Tara Reade's sexual assault allegations against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden.

"I believe women deserve to be heard," Abrams told Vice on Tuesday. "I believe their allegations deserve to be vetted. They deserve to have an investigation."

Abrams said women deserve space to describe their experiences, but added that she wouldn't support Biden as a candidate if she believed Reade's allegations.


"We are obliged to serve justice to those who have been wronged," Abrams continued. "For me, if I thought that this man had done that, then I could not be in this space."

Reade filed a criminal complaint with the Washington Metropolitan Police Department in early April accusing Biden of pushing her against a wall and penetrating her with his fingers in 1993. Reade served as a former aide for Biden during his years as Delaware's senator during the 1990s.

Although Abrams has previously indicated that she believed Biden's denials of Reade's allegations, her comment came before Biden himself personally denied them in a live May 1 televised interview on MSNBC's Morning Joe. "No, it is not true. I'm saying unequivocally it never, never happened. And it didn't. It never happened," Biden said.


"I believe Joe Biden," Abrams told Don Lemon in late April. "I know Joe Biden, and I think that he is telling the truth and that this did not happen."

In a statement issued on the same day, Biden urged "responsible news organizations" to "examine and evaluate the full and growing record of inconsistencies in [Reade's] story, which has changed repeatedly in both small and big ways."

"News organizations that have talked with literally dozens of former staffers have not found one—not one—who corroborated her allegations in any way," his statement continued.

This is ridiculous. I tried to do the right thing and this guy is now trying to call me out for it calling me a suck up because I can admit my errors and try to make amends. Instead of doing the same, he tries to blast me for it and this is what the forum accepts.
This is the daily shit that I complain about and is allowed to happen.

This shit is about as stupid and childish as it gets...

Ouch, not fun. My little sister was struck ny a car when she was about 6 years old as she was following me across US Grant Place without anyone knowing it and struck by a young couple. She was pretty bruised and sore, but after about a week she was up and at it again. which borders Grant Park and Grant High School on the north side

He apologized, explained his position, and he then respectfully listened to what I asked and stopped. He didn't mention anyone by name. He doesn't want to keep going on and on with you or anyone else. Let it go. ENOUGH

I've been informed of how much crap the mods deal with on the back end. The stupid shit that gets reported all day everyday makes their life hell. (Not on topic, this person insulted me, etc.) Its a hilarious revelation that some here have called me thin skinned and a snowflake, when they are the ones tattling and reporting me and the only person I have ever reported here was myself.


I don't want to contribute to that hassle. Though I do understand it doesn't help at all when they need to clean up the forum as well.

At any rate, its just too much BS for me. Its the chicken and the egg and will never end.....I've run my course. :) This mornings continuing of BS in the face of its denial is the icing on the cake for me. I'm taking my pie and heading home. ;)

Let's just let it rest.

Ill just keep to myself.

Reade’s attorney told the NewsHour that Reade recalls the assault happening “in a semiprivate area like an alcove” and that it was “somewhere between the Russell (building) and/or Capitol building.” He pointed out that survivors often have difficulty with specifics about trauma.
Reade’s description aligns with other staffers’ recollections of Biden’s short indoor route between his office and the Capitol. It is a roughly 10-minute walk that consists of one flight of stairs and one long hallway inside the Russell Building, followed by a wide tunnel through which he could walk or take an internal subway train to the Capitol.
The layout of that route and building has not changed. A recent walk through that area showed the subway tunnel contains no out-of-view areas, like an alcove. The remaining portion of the route includes multiple stairwells as well as corridors lined with offices. It is a main thoroughfare for senators and staffers.

What’s not in doubt is that, from 1996 to 2009, Reade’s account of her abuse grew vastly more dramatic and lurid. A former husband whom she originally described as an unstable man with a troubled past and an anger-management problem—and who has an actual record of a one-time spousal assault—got upgraded to a psychopathic monster who commits “unspeakable” horrors, voices thoughts of infanticide, and may well be a serial killer. A nasty fight in which she was thrown against the wall and punched in the chest turned into attempted murder by strangulation. Suicidal musings became threats of murder-suicide.

A similar pattern is evident in Reade’s evolving story about Biden. Her narrative in 2019 was about a boss who (she said) made her uncomfortable by casually touching her hair, shoulders and neck. In the 2020 version, the boss is suddenly a sexual predator who pushes her against the wall in a public hallway and violates her with his hand before cruelly declaring her to be worthless. And the alleged attack grew even more brutal in a subsequent retelling.

Could Reade’s ex be a well-camouflaged homicidal psychopath? Could Biden be a well-camouflaged rapist? Well, anything is possible. But it seems far more likely that Reade is a serial fabulist with a propensity to weave a thread of genuine bad experiences into a tissue of made-for-TV melodrama.

If you read the whole thread, you'd see there were some references to the actress who shares a similar name. As to whether or not she is a "skank", I do not know the woman in that manner. And even if I did, I don't think she'd admit it.
