Maybe it’s just the conspiracy theorist in me, but I find it very odd that CJ gets injured in San Antonio and the first syllable in popliteus strain is “Pop”. Just saying.

That is odd. Also:

popliteus strain - L TRAIN

LA wears #12.........1+2 = 3, which is CJ's number.........three syllables in "McCollum"......he goes by three names.......he was injured in the third quarter.........it was our third game on the road trip........he finished with three rebounds.............

You Sir have earned something.... Not sure what but i am sure you have earned something for this. 3 likes?

Here's an interesting question about CJ.
If Hood or whomever they start at the 2 looks really, good and like a great fit with the 1st unit. Is there any chance whatsoever that Stotts looks at that and says maybe CJ should be the 6th man?
I know it's somewhat disrespectful, but I've always thought of CJ as kind of a perfect scorer off the bench, and I know other's have thought that (I'm sure I'm not alone right? heh).
No chance at all.

Don’t think anyone has ever wished for CJ to get hurt. I know I haven’t. But I’d be lying if I said I thought we were a better team with him. And that’s not necessarily a shot at CJ, but more so at Stotts for how he uses him.

Hate that it took an injury to force his hand, but now maybe we’ll see actual basketball instead of just leaning on two dudes to do everything offensively, while everyone else functions only to get those two their shots.
Are you kidding? What about Nurc? What about setting Aminu up? What about Turner? What about Layman? What about Curry?

Seriously though, what are you even trying to say then? You always like to play the "where did I say that card?"
All you have to do is quote where he said it.

yeah, like you would go searching through all these threads and post to find something. If it was an article I read then I would have posted a link, but finding a post in this forum is like looking for a needle in a haystack. No thanks.
I think an experienced searcher could find it relatively fast. It involves the use of key words.

Is there a reason why you chose "CJ McCollum off team" as your search parameter and only 4 posters? That was never indicated in anything I stated or are you admitting there was NO COLLUSION! :bgrin:
Even the judge said there was no evidence of collusion.

Awesome! You truly are the Ace of “pop”ular conspiracies.

nope...it would be a first if she took my peepee; she took what hung below it a long time ago. I don't know if it was before or after the 'taking' that I learned it was easier to take the path of least resistance 97% of the time. No point in going to war but every once in a while, I'll win a battle. When I do, I celebrate secretly in a room she's not in

This is pure genius. POTY canidate for sure.

You are a sports fan. Im pretty sure you know the rules of tennis. If not, i apologize for my assumption. If you do know, then why ask the obvious?
I am and i do. Do you have an answer to my question? Or should we just move on?

There is a phrase that describes your situation.

Learn these words for someday they'll save your life - "Yes, dear."

You should post some pictures of your wife.

Pervert mutt alert!!!!!!

Hood is a nice player but nowhere near the facilitator and ball handler McCollum is and if they put a lot of pressure to get the ball out of Dames hands then we won't have a quality secondary ball handler and a player that can consistently break down a defense as that's not Hoods game. I think Hood will be ok for a short period that we will see, but McCollum in my book is just that much better. I also don't follow the logic that he's an "ok" starter, but could be incredible off the bench. Minutes are minutes and if he's going to play mid 30's then what difference does it make if he starts. 20 points in the starting lineup adds up the same as 20 points off the bench .

So was danny green a better player than manu?
With your logic, spurs should have made manu a starter.
Sometimes your 6th man IS better than the starter they replace, but for team ball its the best thing.

oh yeah, you disagree with me. How shocking. Key word, sometimes. That means most the time that's not the case. Should I post all the starting shooting guards that are better than the 6th man to counter your point? Seems like it's always dejavu with you. :breakdance:

And my position is there are even more, if other players were put into the same role/position as those 33 NBA players.

I'm thinking its closer to 20-25%. So not most( I didn't say most, I replied to someone else who did, though I agreed it was more than just a few)

Not even half, but still close to a quarter of the league I think could average 20ppg, if presented the right situation.

Now to be fair and turn this back to where it was, how many of those 25% are PF's? because the conversation was about getting someone other than LMA who could still average 20ppg, correct me if I'm wrong?

Now this is where @kjironman1 @CupWizier have a valid point and I will even expand on it. This is a guard dominated league, and without looking, i'm willing to bet over half of the 33 players currently averaging 20ppg+ are guards/wings. We aren't going to replace Aminu or choose a guard over LMA. So their point that there aren't many options out there, is in fact very valid.

Are there many players who can average 20ppg? I think there are more than some others do, but I think we can all agree that when it comes to picking someone other than LMA to bring in for the PF position, there are EXTREMELY few choices that average 20ppg.

Love?
Griffin?
LMA?

Who else is a realistic get for us that is a PF and averages 20ppg?

So of those three, who would provide the most improvement to the team?(obviously what we give up is a major factor), but I would say Griffin first, LMA second, Love 3rd.

All that's left is to figure out what would have to be given up for each for us to determine who is the unequivocal best choice for us to pursue.

Lastly, Ill put Aminu back in the mix because of contract size. As pointed out, he has been very efficient overall based on stats even though some think he is horrid and more think he is overrated. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but the contract size is what is the biggest factor for me when comparing him toe the other viable options listed above. Could we figure out how to sign him in the off season to a friendly 7-10 mill per? If so, then I think he is our best option over the others listed above, and we can focus more on upgrading the SF position, which is the other weak link of this team in my opinion. Lots of role player SF's, but not one stud. (can Jake become a stud? Would be the best option for the team if so because he have his rights and can retain him)

Your history and antics yesterday speak for them self as I tried yesterday and got the same typical responses from you that kills discussions. Take a look in the mirror dude. You are far from as innocent as you like to claim.

By the way, do you really think going into the playoffs is the best time to make a major change if it's not needed?

My history and antics from yesterday......

You are simply intolerable. And you make this place borderline the same.
