This.

Let’s also not forget Trump blatantly lied about how much vaccine we actually had.

Are we also forgetting how Trump also downplayed the seriousness of COVID multiple times and in many ways? Or how his admin decreased funding to agencies that could have helped prevent or combat COVID?

Trump didn't even order enough vaccines. Pfizer didn't take government money. Not sure how you can attribute any credit to him at all. I'm not saying this as a Trump hater either, I actually thought that the vaccine roll out might be his beg moment, since they had been betting everything on the vaccine and dissmissing methods to reduce spread. I have been floored at how bad Trump botched this whole thing.... If he hadn't been so spectacularly incompetent then he would have easily won reelection.

What surprised me was not that he is incompetent - it was clear as day from day one - what surprised me was how vulnerable the system was to the combination of incompetent president and the 3 monkeys (no see, not hear, not talk) GOP which enabled him.

His strategy really was just divide everyone as much as possible and do everything possible to invalidate anything that made him look bad. It's been so successful that the lemmings still won't get vaccinated or wear masks, even though all of Trump's inner circle were among the first to be vaccinated. It's laughable and frightening at how gullible these people are, to the point of endangering their own health and the people they care about. There's plenty of stories of these sheep dieing from Covid and getting pissed at the doctor's for telling them it's not a hoax.

Last night he repeatedly referenced “MY administration” in reference to the vaccine rollout.
The reality is he’s benefiting from the massive wave of vaccine production the last administration set in motion.
Biden and Harris even went as far as saying they didn’t trust the vaccines while Trump was still in office and beginning to roll them out. Interestingly enough they were providing the SAME reasons many people currently still skeptical are (hasty development, lack of testing, mass production, etc.) Seems now anyone who holds any of those skepticisms is an ANTI VAXXER!!!

Strange times.

Pfizer wasn't part of OWS

The roll out had multiple bungled attempts. Biden and crew had to completely restructure it. If the rollout was so seamless, why wasn't it done quicker.. if it was already ready like they said.

Biden had to clean up the other guys mess. Period.

The shots people are getting right now are a result of funding and production that occurred under the last administration. This will be the case through May. After that it’s all Biden.

If we’re being honest, this is just politics as usual......I personally don’t see it as much if any different than Trump taking all the credit for Obama bringing the economy back. Trump just goosed it with some shortsighted deregulation and reaped the political benefit. No current presidential administration has ever given the past administration (especially if it was the opposing party) credit for anything good whether they deserved it or not.........all I personally give a shit about is that vaccines are available and that they are effectively and efficiently delivered. I grudgingly (very grudgingly) give Trump credit for cutting the red tape to get the vaccines approved. But if we continue being honest with ourselves, any and every president faced with the same horror show would have done the exact same thing. Funny how Trump (and followers) reject blame for failures but just gotta have a standing ovation for actually doing the right thing on occasion......

If Trump wasn’t President then what would have happened? The President (not trump) would have sat around eating bon bons and wouldn’t want to get a vaccine to the public? I don’t get it. Everyone around the world was working on a vaccine.

Basically everything that helped us during the pandemic happened despite Trump not because of him. He was THAT bad. Defending him and nitpicking Biden over the rollout is pretty laughable at this point, especially so if you don't even want to vaccinated yourself.

50 days in office without a press conference...during a pandemic. Pretty groundbreaking stuff. It’s been 100 years since a president just decided “fuck that” when it came to answering questions from the press. If I were one of his handlers I’d be a little nervous about him going off-script also, but how long can they actually drag it out for?

That trump didn't order. So to give him credit is borderline silly. And one of them had nothing to do with OWS

I see you got the talking points.

It's also 50 days without an idiotic tweet, or golf games.

But yeah, go ahead and complain about 50 days as you sat silent for trump's almost year long drought

Trump wouldn’t wear a mask....during a pandemic
Trump demanded states open...during a pandemic
Trump tweeted about dumb shit daily...
He’s got a press secretary who answers questions and doesn’t lie and make shit up every day.

We’ll have to circle back to that.

Biden and Harris didn't trust it until it was tested better. It's now been tested quite a bit more I think.
Here is a quote from Johns Hopkins:
"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted emergency use authorization (EUA) for two COVID-19 vaccines. Both have been tested in large clinical trials."

Biden is not in charge, think again.
Gong. He is the President and there is zero doubt about that.

i.e. the day after the inauguration.
There was a substantial time period between when they made their statement and when they embraced to vaccine. One was before the CDC okayed it and the other was after it was okayed.

So what? Biden has been busy fixing the mess Trump has made. Mending relationships with our allies. Undoing all the bullshit. Getting the covid relief bill out. Getting everyone vaccines. Alot of work.

He will be holding a press conference soon. It's been announced.

Massive! YUGE!

I heard Trump created the vaccine.

Trump deserves no credit in any way related to COVID, other than helping its spread.
He told the scientists in the lab he was a genius...he knew more than anyone about these things.

Give Trump credit where credit is due. If only we had raked the forest like they do in Lilly white Norway we wouldn't have had all those deadly fires. Stable genius

March 11 is the Biden statement address. I posted it. Some people think he is not lucid and others find quick blame for anything he speaks of but I'm liking his calm approach, reality and honesty rather than the nerve racking bullshit and incompetency from "former guy" (that we suffered through for 4 years). Biden just started only two months ago. We should all be fortunate we have him instead of the Donald.
