Who is Brandon? The latest ABM Trumper crush?
I didn't think Yang appealed to the centrist voters. I saw him appealing more to a fringe voter.that's false Lanny...given the tensions with China and the backlash towards the Asian american community under Trump...Yang didn't even win the Democratic primary...he didn't do well at all and he ran a very compelling campaign.....Obama won the democratic primary handily but Yang didn't get votes....Obama was charismatic...Yang..not so much....Obama is also half white....Yang is not. Both men are well educated. You'd be surprised how quickly the GOP would tag Yang as a Chinese spy and a commie...he wanted to give everyone 1k per month ...he got killed for that as a socialist in the primaries....half this country is not very open minded and that same group didn't even show up to vote in the Obama election but showed up when Trump campaigned against minorities...people who never voted in their life voted for Trump to make american white privilege stronger than ever...this administration has more women and minority members than any in our history. Kamala Harris also ran for president and didn't pull the votes as a black woman.....it came down to two old white men
I've been to two major league baseball games. One was in Seattle where I watched the Seattle Pilots play someone. The other was in Atlanta where I watched the Braves against the Dodgers and the great Sandy Koufax.OK, well....

Fox News, what a joke.Biden repeats debunked Amtrak story for fifth time during presidency
Biden repeated the factually impossible story during a speech Monday in New Jersey
By Jessica Chasmar | Fox News
President Biden repeated a heartfelt yet factually challenged story about an Amtrak employee during a speech Monday in New Jersey.
For the fifth time during his presidency, Biden told a story dating back to when he was vice president about a lighthearted encounter with former Amtrak employee Angelo Negri.
BIDEN KEEPS TELLING BIZARRE AMTRAK STORY THAT WAS ALREADY DEBUNKED
"I commuted every single day, 263 miles a day, on Amtrak from the time I got elected United States senator," the president said. "I got to know all the conductors really well, they became my friends – I mean, really, my genuine friends, I’d have them at my home for Christmas and during the summer.
"And Ange walks up to me and goes, ‘Joey, baby,’ grabs my cheek and I thought the Secret Service was going to blow his head off," he said.
"I swear to God, true story," he recalled. "I said, ‘No, no, he’s a friend.’ I said, ‘What’s up, Ange?’ And he said, ‘Joey, I read in the paper you traveled 1,200,000 miles on Air Force planes.’"
Negri then informed the vice president that he had traveled 2,200,000 miles on Amtrak, according to Biden's telling.
"’So Joey, I don’t wanna hear this about the Air Force anymore,’" Biden recalled Negri joking.
"I’m a train guy," the president said, concluding his story and launching into his pitch on his Build Back Better agenda and bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Fox News has previously reported that the story does not add up.
Negri's obituary states he retired from Amtrak in 1993, while Biden was still a senator. Additionally, Biden's office celebrated him hitting 1 million miles on Air Force Two in 2015 and Negri passed away the year prior.
Biden's telling of the story has also varied.
The president previously claimed it happened in the "fourth or fifth year" of his vice presidency, while he claimed as recently as last week that it happened in the seventh year of his tenure.
In another version of the story that Biden has previously told, he was going back to visit his sick mother when the interaction happened, even though his mother, Catherine Eugenia Finnegan, died in 2010.

Fox News, what a joke.
He never really appealed to me. Seemed to focus heavily on young male techies. At least that's the impression I got.I didn't think Yang appealed to the centrist voters. I saw him appealing more to a fringe voter.
I didn't get that impression at all...I think he was one of the more progressive candidates and got no vibe that he was leaning toward any particular demographic at all. I just knew that he wouldn't get votes from mainstream America. Especially campaigning against Mr China flu himself....asians haven't been targeted by civilians on the streets like this since WWII....my wife included..she felt the impact of the racism stirred up by the MAGA crowd. He never really appealed to me. Seemed to focus heavily on young male techies. At least that's the impression I got.
News Flash - She appealed to highly educated men as well.I know there are Yang supporters here, he just didn't grab me. Every candidate has a base; successful ones, at least in a national election, need to go beyond. My preferred candidate Elizabeth Warren unfortunately never went much beyond her base of highly educated women.

Yes she did, but I worked on the campaign through California primary and women greatly outnumbered men.News Flash - She appealed to highly educated men as well.
Biden releases 'gender equity' plan that calls for eliminating cash bail
Calls to end cash bail come at a time when FBI data show an unprecedented rise in violent crime
By Michael Lee | Fox News
President Biden's plan to promote gender equity includes a proposal to eliminate cash bail for suspects, despite a rise in violent crime across the country.
"We are also committed to increasing federal oversight and accountability for police departments and prosecutors’ offices to address systemic misconduct, including gender bias and sexual misconduct," reads part of a 42-page White House report entitled the National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality. "And we will work to end cash bail and reform our pretrial system, recognizing the harm these processes cause, particularly for Black women and families."
The report calls for a "whole of government" approach to ending gender inequalities, with the elimination of cash bail being one of the steps governments can take to combat gender and race disparities.
But the calls to end cash bail come at a time when FBI data show an unprecedented rise in violent crime, with the numbers of murders in the U.S. rising by nearly 30% in 2020. That number represents the largest single-year increase recorded since the FBI began tracking the statistic.
The overall violent crime rate, which also includes assault, robbery and rape, rose 5% in 2020 compared to 2019.
Advocates for keeping the cash bail system argue that ending the practice would put the public at risk, pointing to statistics in cities that have eliminated cash bail that show the likelihood of re-arrest before trial rose 37% in those locations. Suspects were also more likely to miss their court date in cities that had eliminated cash bail.
My preferred candidate Elizabeth Warren unfortunately never went much beyond her base of highly educated women.
Cash bail discriminates against poor people. Elimination of cash bail doesn't need to mean violent criminals are released. Violent criminals can and should be held in pre-trial detention, rather than letting the rich ones out.
