All I know is everything I read said that 6 year players can only take up to 15.9 mil on this year's cap. I don't know how that works outIs that average or is that first year salary and it can go up from there?
Yes please Sticky but also please look over @BrianFromWA

I agree about green. Let's say we keep Aldridge, and possibly get Hibbert. Green would be the perfect final piece in our system because he would defend the perimeter, while Hibbert controls the paint. Aldridge would just be the designated one on one guy.Guys, 15-20 for Monroe, it definitely is splitting hairs in my mind. The problem here isn't capspace, it's finding a guy who would actually fit here either as a FA or in a trade.
Green is another mediocre player unless he's put in the right situation. He's more of a "final piece."
I guess he's off the table
That actually works cap wise if Green accepts a contract of 10 mil and aminu accepts 6Interesting...

Green
Aminu
LA
Hibbert
That's actually a pretty good defensive team. I think that team could compete in the west.
I know you are being sarcastic but I actually think we dodge a bullet. Max Jordan is not worth itBoohoo.. I guess I shall have to drown my sorrow in Portland microbrew craft beer
ugh. I hate Hibbert and think he would bust pretty hard here. Plums can be a better fit.Interesting...

I know you and almost 80% of the fans here think Hibbert sucks, but the dude was third best in the entire league with rim FG%, behind Gobert and Bogut. He's also young enough to keep us a force in the league for many years.ugh. I hate Hibbert and think he would bust pretty hard here. Plums can be a better fit.
If DeAndre is going to DAL, then Chandler could be in play, and I like him a lot better

Thing with Chandler is he's a two year rental. He is too old to be a future piece in Portland. I just don't see how this is something Olshey would wantChandler, Green, and Aminu? Not the huge splash that Neil wanted.
I see him up close here in Indy, man. When you have Hill, West, and George around you, your D will automatically start to look better. The guy is clumsy as hell and literally trips over himself on every other possession. He provides 0 spacing potential on offense, and is more immobile than Rolo on D. With the way the league is going, Hibbert's strengths are going to become obsolete.I know you and almost 80% of the fans here think Hibbert sucks, but the dude was third best in the entire league with rim FG%, behind Gobert and Bogut. No I mean I don't want Chandler if we don't get LA back.Chandler, Green, and Aminu? Not the huge splash that Neil wanted.
pretty week options in FA at SG, I have a feeling DGreen gets close to what wes is seekingThat actually works cap wise if Green accepts a contract of 10 mil and aminu accepts 6
But they didn't have George last season. West is hardly a defender bro. His defense is legit. Sorry if I disagree with youI see him up close here in Indy, man. Bogut was benched in the finals.
Gobert is more mobile than both of these guys.

There aren't many options at SG in free agency bro. All are role players and Green is probably the best 3D guypretty week options in FA at SG, I have a feeling DGreen gets close to what wes is seeking

I meant to say "elite". He and Aldridge are very similar on the defensive end IMO.I can't take your opinion seriously when you say something like this.
you cant protect the owners from themselvesYeah. Which would be a pretty drastic overpay. He's a role player. I could see doing 12 million a year but 15 seems too high.
I think Green gets Batum money (12 MIL) from someone. Maybe he takes less to come here? I guess possibly but doubt it.That actually works cap wise if Green accepts a contract of 10 mil and aminu accepts 6
will look cheap after cap hike increases role player salaries after 2016Yeah. Which would be a pretty drastic overpay. He's a role player. I could see doing 12 million a year but 15 seems too high.
Not gonna lie. Seeing any of our players will hurt. As much as I understood why Batum was dealt, it's still going to be really weird to see him in another uni.Not going to lie: seeing Wes on another team is going to hurt.
