Guys, 15-20 for Monroe, it definitely is splitting hairs in my mind. The problem here isn't capspace, it's finding a guy who would actually fit here either as a FA or in a trade.

Green is another mediocre player unless he's put in the right situation. He's more of a "final piece."

I agree about green. Let's say we keep Aldridge, and possibly get Hibbert. Green would be the perfect final piece in our system because he would defend the perimeter, while Hibbert controls the paint. Aldridge would just be the designated one on one guy.

Interesting...

Dame
Green
Aminu
LA
Hibbert

That's actually a pretty good defensive team. I think that team could compete in the west.

That actually works cap wise if Green accepts a contract of 10 mil and aminu accepts 6

ugh. I hate Hibbert and think he would bust pretty hard here. Plums can be a better fit.

If DeAndre is going to DAL, then Chandler could be in play, and I like him a lot better

I know you and almost 80% of the fans here think Hibbert sucks, but the dude was third best in the entire league with rim FG%, behind Gobert and Bogut. He's also young enough to keep us a force in the league for many years.

Chandler, Green, and Aminu? Not the huge splash that Neil wanted.

Thing with Chandler is he's a two year rental. He is too old to be a future piece in Portland. I just don't see how this is something Olshey would want

I see him up close here in Indy, man. When you have Hill, West, and George around you, your D will automatically start to look better. The guy is clumsy as hell and literally trips over himself on every other possession. He provides 0 spacing potential on offense, and is more immobile than Rolo on D. With the way the league is going, Hibbert's strengths are going to become obsolete.

Bogut was benched in the finals.

Gobert is more mobile than both of these guys.

Not all pieces have to be 10 year pieces, though. A 2 year piece isn't a "rental". It's just a 2 year piece, and sometimes that's alright.

But they didn't have George last season. West is hardly a defender bro. His defense is legit. Sorry if I disagree with you

pretty week options in FA at SG, I have a feeling DGreen gets close to what wes is seeking

Yeah. Which would be a pretty drastic overpay. He's a role player. I could see doing 12 million a year but 15 seems too high.

There aren't many options at SG in free agency bro. All are role players and Green is probably the best 3D guy

will look cheap after cap hike increases role player salaries after 2016

Not going to lie: seeing Wes on another team is going to hurt.
Not gonna lie. Seeing any of our players will hurt. As much as I understood why Batum was dealt, it's still going to be really weird to see him in another uni.
