I'm afraid that LA and cousins wouldn't mesh well. Leonard and cousins stylistically is better but whatevs, pipe dreamsThey need to do anything short of trading away Dame to get him. LMA would definitely be back if they could pull it off. LMA, Dame, and DMC, how's that for a big three?
they need a starting SG, but they'd probably plug Nic there. I think they'd want Leonard and would draft Cauley-Stein.How could we get cousins? Batum, our pick and what else? Mccollum? Leonard?
After reading that article, their No. 6 seems like it's in play as well. Batum for No. 6 would make sense for both sides and I'd love it even more if Winslow was on the board at that slot.
Why are you so hellbent on trading Lillard? Here's the Woj shitstirring article.
Obviously we can't trade Aldridge for Cousins, but if you want to make up scenarios, you should work out a third team that Aldridge might actually want to go to, and that doesn't have the cap space to sign him outright. That's right: you can't do that either.
You might be able to do Lillard for Cousins, or perhaps Lillard AND Leonard for him. Then re-sign LaMarcus and you'd have two players who've said publicly they want somebody else to play center.
(Having said that, the Kings are pretty much the only team that Rondo fits with, so if they can get an exciting PG without giving up anything, Lillard might not tempt them.)

The point is to get Dame and Demarcus on the same team here. Plus, Meyers and Boogie would make an amazing duo.

It's going to be literally impossible to S&T Aldridge for Cousins.
Figure out a 3 way that lands us boogie for LA.
I know, which is why I said this:

We're all fully aware of the hurdles. No need to get testy and condescending. You're taking all this posturing way too seriously in the middle of the offseasonDid you read this?
Aldridge has to be OK with wherever you're sending him. The hypothetical 3rd team would also have to be OVER the cap AND willing to trade a way good assets/players. Now why the hell would Aldridge agree to the trade if that 3rd team drops a bunch of their assets (and presumably, good players) to get him?
Ugh, I think I depressed myself - this trade would be SO good! Get Cousins AND our back-up PG situation is solved!I know this doesn't actually work, just having fun...

Report is now that the Kings owner won't let Karl trade Cousins.
Ranadive needs to make up his mind. He wants to run'n'gun, but he wants to keep Boogie. Those things don't really work together. He should fire "snake in the grass" Karl and hire Thibs, and be happy with a slow pace and a winning record.
