The only reason San Antonio would stand in the Blazers way is if LA goes there; if he stays, SA falls. Same with any Western Conference foe LA could go to.

Joe Johnson (big expiring too!), JJ Redick, CJ Miles, etc.
Is Johnson good? He's been irrelevant for so long I honestly don't have a clue.
Redick would be fine coming off the bench...but we have CJ.
Miles? More like MEHles!

Johnson is what my top dog would be...

14.4 PPG / 4.8 RPG / 3.7 APG

.435/.359/.801

80/82 GP

He can play the 3 too so we can go small ball with Aminu at the 4 and whoever we want at the 5.

Redick is a great shooter so I'd like him to balance out Aminu on the wing

Miles is very underrated.

My #1 choice would be Crowder.

But it would be impossible with Monroe and LMA max'd out.

I know Wes is injured but even coming back from injury I bet he outproduces 2 out of 3 of those guys next year. And he isn't even coming back.... I don't think Olshey is worried about our SG position (not saying he shouldn't be).

Between backup PG and SG I bet CJ averages 32 mins a game next year. He is going to get all the minutes he can take.

Joe Johnson: 14/5/4
JJ Redick: 16/2/2
CJ Miles: 14/3/1

Wes (Before the Achilles): 16/4/2

I doubt he out produces them.

I hope if LA commits we stop going after Monroe and make a move for a good 2 guard.

Why?

Monroe is infinitely better than all of those players mentioned.

CJ McCollum will be getting a big chunk of PT at SG, if not more. Henderson is a good change of pace with his size and rim attack ability.

I find it especially interesting because people have been complaining about not having a SG that can create off the bounce and get the rack...which is exactly what Henderson is. Nothing special, but we don't need special with McCollum, most likely, playing 25+ minutes a game.

Sounds like a waste of cap space; meanwhile,

Monroe is a legitimate all star caliber player at center.

Color me confused.

I'm sure they all had higher usage ratings than Matthews, as well. The game is more than stat mongering. Real plus/minus, not getting abused defensively, efficienCy all goes into production as well.

And jj redick has cp3...

Look, I love Wes, but here I have to trust the Blazers. They know what he means to the team. However, they also know how he's recovering better than anyone. If they don't think he's our guy post-injury, then I have to be with them.

What a fucking shame, BTW. Why couldn't that injury happen to a complete a-hole instead?

Grizzlies Agree Upon Three-Year, $18M Deal With Brandan Wright:

per Realgm

Great value

Don't you mean Dorell Wright? I think Brandan re-signed with the Suns.

Wes is probably going to get abused defensively now. His efficiency wont be the same either.

You go for the known production.

JJ Redick has always been a great shooter, it's not just CP3.
