See!!!! Could you imagine if we were paying this much for Matthews and Lopez, even with Aldridge?!?!Bwahahahaha Lopez to Knicks for four years 54 million. That's 13.5 per year. WOW
Phil convinced Rolo it would only take 3 years to learn the triangle, so it's a practice gig and once you learn it, we'll trade you. Meanwhile you save big on expensive NY rent by sleeping on your brother's couch and your mom can see all of your home games as well as his. It's a zen situation and by the way....read this bookBwahahahaha Lopez to Knicks for four years 54 million. That's 13.5 per year. WOW
I think plumlee can step up to the challenge and replace most of rolos production.See!!!! Could you imagine if we were paying this much for Matthews and Lopez, even with Aldridge?!?!
By comparison, that Parsons deal looks a lot better Now with some of these deals being thrown aroundI knew Wes and Rolo would get overpaid. I knew it a year ago after watching Parsons and Gortat get stupid contracts.
Regardless of what LaMarcus does, we know there will be other additions to the Blazer roster. What about Kendall Marshall? Good sized backup coming off of an ACL injury but for all the knocks about his shooting, has shot just under 40% the last two seasons from '3'. Also, what about Wesley Johnson as a SG/SF? Long, athletic swingman who can shoot the '3' pretty well. Probably both could be had fairly inexpensively.
Love the idea of Marshall. I think he'd be a great fit on a team with very few guys outside of Dame and CJ who can create their own shot.
How is his D? That is the key IMO for the next back up PG. I watched him play for the Lakers quite a bit the year before last and he looked good running the offense. But I don't remember focusing on his D.

I think Olshey will flip Henderson and maybe Kaman for a 2 guard but I haven't a clue who he's targeting. I do think Crabbe is going to have that 3rd year breakout season that Meyers had last yearHis 'D' is nothing to write home about but on this team, it is going to have to be very scheme oriented as they only have a couple of players (Aminu, Crabbe and Henderson) that I would consider 'plus' defenders. He is a VERY good passer and is always looking to set up teammates. Averaged almost 9 APG a couple years ago with the Lakers.
