With Ant and Grant starting? Probably not very often...
I’ve enjoyed the games all season. When we sucked, I rooted for the young players and didn’t get upset when we lost. Now that we’re winning, I’m enjoying this too. We haven’t had this dominant of a stretch since the 13 game winning streak in 2018. It’s been so much fun. I feel bad for the people who refuse to enjoy it.

We have had about 10 top 5 picks since I began watching the Blazers in 1970.
Only one has had the ability to make us a contender. In 50+ years.......

So although I absolutely want another chance at it, I have become numb to thinking it will make a difference.

LaRue Martin???

Refuse has nothing to do with it. I'm not going to set aside anything else to make time for it. If Scoot and Sharpe were starting I probably would.

Now that we've apparently decided the rebuild is done I'll enjoy the wins as they come. I'll catch games when I can.

But I'm not going to be excited about watching Ant and Grant start over Sharpe and Scoot.

Martell?

This misses the point. What you really want is multiple of those guys on the same team.

Expecting a single top 5 pick to be enough is unrealistic. Yet Portland keeps doing it over the decades.

And here we are. Doing it again...

Thought you were off on 10 but that's pretty accurate.

Please name one single team that lost games to rebuild with two top5 picks and won a title.

I can't think of a single example of this happening.

That is why I said top 5. He was 6th. We should have drafted CP3 that year instead of trading it. But even as good as Chris Paul has been......no rings.
Chris Paul's problem might be that he makes his teams too good too quickly. The Hornets were almost instantly a playoff team before they had a chance to stock up on other high lottery picks.

Of course, he's also been cursed with injuries in the playoffs, too.

He was so good. One of the greatest actually. I think he could have won if he stayed healthy and maybe didn't leave Charlotte as early as he did.

Chris Paul's biggest problem is he's an asshole dick puncher. Julius hodge should have carte Blanche to donkey punch that fucker. Fuck Chris Paul

Non-destination teams don't usually win it unless they get lucky later. But the Spurs tanked their way to quite a few titles. It takes more than just tanking, but you have to have talent.

We don't have enough assets (talent) to trade for high draft picks.

It doesn't matter. We had an opportunity to add talent and we didn't take it. It is what it is.
