So they will have two 6o million dollar players next year. How much does Kuminga want again? I was surprised they did not include him.

Miami probably didn't want him

That’s lot of dough for Butler. There is now way GSW can afford Kaminga going forward since he wants to get paid

Luka made allNBA first team the last 5 years - every year of his career except as a rookie.

AD made 2nd team last season, none the year prior, none the year prior, none the year prior, and first team his initial year in LA.

Not to mention yeah as you say he's way younger, not even at his peak while the other guys is clearly past his peak. Its by far the worst trade in NBA history.
I actually think we’re seeing AD’s peak this season and the Mavs see it that we do. Look at AD’s numbers. He has higher PER than Luka. AD was probably going to finish Top 5 in MVP voting. Still a bad trade though. Knecht or Reaves should’ve been in the deal. Would the Lakers have really turned down a Luka for one of those guus?

For what Kuminga?

They don't have anything to send for JG. They could do something for RW3 with him and one of their lower salaries, but I can't see them doing JG unless they send Dray out - and that's not happening

Not many teams that can or will take JG now.

Naw POR is not dealing this year. Very saddened

I’m not buying Thybulle and Rob not getting traded. Where are the minutes? We need to thin the herd. It’s a shane there’s not a consolidation trade to be made.

Come on Golden State…. You want a Jerami Grant too!
At this point, I'd keep Grant until we can package him for some good draft capital.

We've screwed up our chances of getting a good lotto pick, so certainly no reason to sell cheap... Gotta turn the guys we have into that draft capital.

Don’t like this because we’re competing with GS for play-in spot.

It's really dreadful for the Phoenix Suns and their "Win Now" roster

Currently a 9th seed.
Below them: (on paper)
Golden State got better
Dallas could be said to have gotten better (depending on AD's health)
San Antonio got better
Portland is on fire

Thybulle has played a total of 0 minutes this season.

If you stretch Timelord's minutes across every Blazer game this season it would be a whole 6.2 minutes per game.

Now I'd be for trading Timelord for a pick or dumping Thybulle salary. But ultimately the Blazers minutes will be totally fine this year either way.

It's crazy how deep the west is.

Then you look in the East and the Pistons are the 6th seed around .500

5 - team trade

Kyle Anderson going to Raptors (edit, Anderson may be on his way out from Toronto)

Dennis Schroeder to Utah

PJ Tucker and Wiggins to Miami and top 10 protected 1st round pick from Golden State

Pistons get Lindy Waters and Josh Richardson

Remember the Suns sent a unprotected 2031 first-round pick to Utah for 3 other first round picks, with the assumption that they would use those picks for Jimmy Butler.
