Montgomery vs. Fiers

Lineups to follow...

Another miserable weekend in detroit weatherize fir yanks. Tonight 48 w chill 44 and showeres and this looks like the best day of the 3, tmo 1pm 39 w chill 26 and rain, sunday 42 w chill 25 and rain. The yankees will be crying to get to that nice warm cozy dome in tampa next week. Weather so far has been absolutely brutal unfortunately matching the yankees play.

It just figures The Yankees are away it's supposed to be pretty warm here in New York for the next couple of days.

Those warming New York temperatures were probably Hal chewing Cashmans ass for early failures of this team thus far.

This is relevant to Gleyber. To delay free agency, the Yankees have to wait until next Wednesday to call him up. Not a big difference, but a difference.

Season under new CBA is 186 days, but full year of service is still 172. A non-40-man roster guy who is called up tomorrow and stays in majors all season would finish with 171. Different rule for 40-man roster guys; clubs need to wait 20 days to ensure extra year of control.

^^^Yeah, the Cubs used the same strategy with Kris Bryant before he was called up during his rookie year.

Yankees announce Luis Cessa as the probable Starter for tomorrow's Game. It's Montgomery tonight Cessa tomorrow and Severino on Sunday weather permitting of course.

Gardner -LF
Judge -RF
Stanton -DH
Gregorious -SS
Sanchez -C
Hicks -CF
Walker -1B
Andujar -3B
Torreyes -2B

Stanton not in the field, good move, this way he can only fuck up one portion of the game.

Biggie could start sometime next week as per Brian Cashman.

anyone recall t/Yanx-Tiggers brawl of last August??? If t/Yanx sputter in Shitroit; they might think of another....

08 August, 017

8 Strikeouts, 2 by Judge, Gian-K-arlo, Sanchez and Walker. I swear it looks like Boone's given the greenlight to everyone too swing for the Candian Border....12 stranded baserunners....

damn good thing t/Yanx are playing a bottom feeding team...they better not fk this one up, with t/3rd Det run scoring; bottom of t/7th-

Torreyes needs to stay in the line up. Always makes contact. Another rbi. Good to see andujar with a couple extra base hits tonight

"More Torreyes, More Torreyes, More Torreyes"
chanted to the SNL "More Cowbell" skit

I got a fever and the only prescription is More --- Torreyes....

Hey boone, get off your ass already and get this gas can out of here before we blow this game too.

Betances has lost his mojo, hasn't been the same since mid-year 017. How long are t/Yanx going to keep him around? How much damage will they wait for one man to do...

Betances in Portugese translates to Bednchitter...nbedchitter...

deplorable outing by the BP, making this another early, late and often-nail biter???

The Yanx have given up 76 Runs thus far, in 14 gms, this one not yet over...

At this rate, the Yanx will have to continue scoring 5.43 runs per game going forward, if this trend continues, god forbid... ~!~

right now I'd pay Betances his full salary to stay at home. I'd rather see t/79 year old Phil Niekro come out of retirement to replace Betances.

What once looked like a bright future for Dellin has become a nightmare. Did someone spike Betances punch with acid last year, a hallucination he can't shake....

Yankee bullpen is a travesty. They just give up too many runs. Montgomery pitches a gem for him.......
the bullpen has no fuckin’ pride. As a whole they are the main reason the team is floundering.
In six plus innings Montgomery gives up 3 hits......the bullpen gives up 9 hits in two innings......

I wonder what Trashman is doing?
