What is with the NBA's garbage ass scheduling department? Why do we keep playing teams over and over close together? Were they just super lazy?

Been doing this for a few years now because of COVID. Then realized it cut down on the teams travel. Which is good for our team since we travel the most in the league.

How many losses does it lead to when you're so unlikely to beat the same team more than once?
 
Luka, Lively and less importantly Grant Williams are all out for the Mavs tonight.

We won't have Deandre obviously but will also be missing Moses and Jabari tonight. If Reath and Badji can't stay on the floor it won't matter that Luka is out because a bunch of guys on the Mavs will feast in the paint without any sort of rim protection at all.
