Best thing about this win was that the Blazers didn't shrivel up after Dillon Brooks tried his little bully play there toward the end. That's something young players need to learn, to raise their game and shut up players like Brooks by being mentally tougher.

Deni with a great all-around game tonight. Simons reverted to unguardable down the stretch.

We might be the most undisciplined team in the league, but those are things that can be patched up eventually. Some of these other little nuances they have to learn on their own and this was a step in the direction.

we could have had Amen instead of scoot, I remember lots of folks considering it

I was a fan of Amen but people were skeptical because of his shot mechanics, competition played, and age.

Yep, that was great. Told him to get that bush league shit out of here.

Hell of a win! Go Blazers! Deni stepped up huge and it was awesome seeing Ant stand up to Brooks after he tried to get into it with Shae. If Simons can keep this up then I wouldn’t mind him staying.

The rockets look like a better version of us. They also have no good offensive players, but they got better defensive players and more talent overall.

And they play dirty. I don't care for that shit.

Lmao. Blazers fans are so schizophrenic. You do know this is his seventh season right?

Extremely impressive. I thought it was over the second we took out Clingan.

Yeah, I was surprised we didn't play him more in that fourth. I know they were being cautious with his knee. Another dirty injury courtesy of Brooks. Just glad Clingan is ok.

How many C's bock a shot, gather it then lead a fast break? LOL I think I saw he had four blocked shots

Right?! He did including a late one against Sengun that helped us deal the win. Dude was everywhere tonight. Good to see him finally getting comfortable.

They have a little more depth for sure. They were bad longer. They have hits and misses on their picks. Superior coaching and culture being built. They are a couple years ahead of us.

Tell ya what Deni is one strong dude, Sengun could not hardly move him

I like Sengun, but listening to the Rockets feed was making my ears bleed. They talked about him like he's unguardable down low. He's definitely strong and has great fundamentals, but he's not an exceptional athlete of have great length for a center in this league. If you don't jump for his ball fake and get caught on his hip, you're going to have a chance to contest. If he wants to shoot 15 footers, just raise your hand and let him.

Deni had that one stop late in the game just playing better fundamental defense than Sengun did on offense. Didn't go for the fakes, played it straight and ended up blocking the shot of the bigger player.

Did we ever hear what was wrong with Clingan’s knee? I know he returned, but….

Brooks got him in the back of his knee then kicked him in the leg again on the way down.

Is anyone else curious where the Blazers broadcasting is getting their stats? Their graphic shows the Blazers with like 67 rebounds, when ESPN has them at 53.

And they seem to have those stats screwy all season too.

NBA.com says 67
