Sengun took the leap over the Summer for Turkey (where he outclassed Jokic) and he's killing it

I have never seen a team so bad at defensive rebounding lol
Well that was disappointing
Rockets are among the best at offensive rebounding. We need to sharpen up and pay attention. Too much falling asleep.
The last two minutes of that half was about as bad as the Blazers could play.
Shaedon coming off a great game, has a good 1Q and then lays an egg and looks willing to play defense but without the understanding of how to do it.
Again, getting destroyed on 50/50 balls. Missing a third of our FTs isn't helping.
Anyone wants to know what my gripes are with Clingan, again, it's playing like he has grease on his hands and losing balls he has to a combination of getting outmuscled by smaller players and panicking. I don't need him to score. I do need him to control rebounds he has. We can't play 20 seconds of great defense, force a miss, GET the rebound and then lose the ball because Clingan either isn't strong enough or his head is somewhere else and then we give up an easy shot.
Absolutely. That's absolutely true. The difference is that Deni and Jrue aren't there primarily to clear the rebounds and they can make up for it in other areas. For Clingan, it's his thing. But you are right he's not the only one failing in that regard. That we can bring up issues with rebounding and Jerami not being one of the three guys we mention is kind of a problem. Not just Clingan though. It's Deni and Jrue too. It's been several guys just not securing the ball on the rebounds, throwing shotty passes, and throwing up weak FT attempts.
Can someone please explain to my why our center is guarding the perimeter and not their center????
