So NBA Central deleted their tweet saying Crowders been traded.

If Utah gets him for one of their draft picks I'll understand. But a straight up Hayward for Crowder would be frustrating

I'm tired of POR fans overrating the hell out of our role players. It's tiresome.
I like Vonleh, Aminu and Turner....so what? Why does that make you tired? I get tired of shuffling the deck...over and over and over...but you're free to do that here.

Don't get why this dude has Memphis at 5th or 6th....
I don't think Memphis even makes playoffs

We need an SF that can shoot. Tired of Aminu and Turner throwing up bricks despite what they bring on the defensive side and Turner as a playmaker

Shuffling the deck? The summer before LMA left we had the least change in the league. Last summer, we brought back 11 of 15, tied for most in the league. This summer we're on pace to bring back 13 of 15 (Technically 13 of 14 since one of them didn't even play a game for us. We "shuffle the deck" less than any other team.

I'm tired of watching Aminu and Turner build churches, and I'm tired of watching Vonleh keel over the ball whenever he's in the paint. They're not good NBA players.

Neither do I. Same goes for the Clips as I have them 9th and 10th (whichever order floats the boat).

As a small market I hope Neil is going after Crowder and that contract. We couldn't afford Bradley and him leaving. However I really believe Neil isn't gonna do anything. I mean, we know he tried to get in the mix for Paul george but other than that, been pretty silent and I expect it will stay that way

Our team rules. GO Blazers!IMG_2066.JPG

no self respecting player agent is going to have his client sign a contract and have him become available after all the money is spent.
Ezeli wasnt in position to negotiate that, and some players have July 30th deadlines.

Lol, I want to get the team better. I'm thinking of scenarios if what could happen, and discussing it.

I'm tired of POR fans overrating the hell out of our role players. It's tiresome. We have a logjam of mediocre role players and if we could turn a couple into a star or good starter, we'll be fine because we'll still have enough mediocre role players to fill the roster.
If the guys we signed last offseason prove they had a down year and play lights out this season then we are effing golden.

That's unlikely.
Why do you say that?

I think there is truth to that quote about FO's understanding players can underperform after signing a big contract, until they come back down to earth and pick up where they left off & continue to improve. Sometimes it's just not there to improve talent wise, sometimes a massive change of scenery and completely new system can be a lot to take on in just a few weeks of camp, and sometimes you can get ahead of yourself because you just got paid, before you learn you've still got a lot of work left to do.

because of the contracts neil handed out last summer, we are absolutely fucked

It's not just them...........................

If course UTAH is open to a sign and trade for the player that already left them.

If BOS wants to save $6M, we should try to send Aminu or Davis and a future 2nd to a 3rd team to make that work:

Team3 Gets: Aminu/Davis, Future POR 2nd
BOS Gets: 2018 POR 1st, $6.8M Cap Space
POR Gets: Crowder

I doubt Utah gives up more than GH in a S&T, and I don't think they'd give up their pick for Crowder.
GH has sign with the Kings due to he was UFA.

Dude has us 8th wtf

Like I've said , we could finish 2nd to last in our division and still get a playoff spot... I think we'll get between 5th and 7th.

It's really about 4-5 years from now. It's not realistic to think we have a chance without things out of our control happening.

They're not good NBA players.
sure bones....this is where you lose it...sorry...I've seen many, many versions of the Blazers...we're the youngest team around....Vonleh is going to be a really good PF whether you think so or not. Sometimes you have really good takes on things....recently I think you're getting a bit over the top ...but it's all good. Enjoy the puzzle...might want to rethink calling these guys trash, horrible, not NBA players....news flash, they are NBA players and young
