Do you enjoy an individual play any less because the opposition's best player is on the bench?

Look at the bigger picture. The point of the NBA is the whole season, everything else from months, to games, to quarters, to individual plays can be broken down, and fitted into the structure of the whole season.

From that point of view, winning a game with the best opposition player out, is no different from scoring against them, when they're on the bench.

Ugh Napier that 3 would've been huge.

48 minutes of not having to worry about that.

12-15 minutes not having to worry about it.

Our best player is out so it's even.

2nd shots for the spurs has kept them in this game. If we can clean that up that can be a win for us.

One might say our best pt guard and best center are on the bench...Dame and Festus

That's the saddest thing I've ever heard. A guy who will be out the entire season is better than all our healthy "centers".

Pops is going to be striping paint off the locker room walls with the spray he'll be giving them over steals, turnovers, and points off turnovers.

They will come out hard to start the second half.

Obviously we really need to rebound better, starting with boxing out on D.

This is the type of game Pop doesn't care about losing. If we're up in the 4th quarter he'll probably play his bench...and they'll probably still beat us.

Stotts threw a curveball with weird roster substitutions tonight...don't think Pop had game planned for Napier, Connaughton and Vonleh that early in the game

one can hope...our third string is pretty good! sorry I had to edit...posted partially done

We are hanging in there, but Aminu has got to find his shot. It's nowhere close right now.

I've never seen CJ draw this many free throws, but my memory may be crap.

The Spurs are 26-6. I don't think Pop wants to lose any ;)

This feels like a game that the Spurs just decide to win in the last 5 minutes

Aminu's turned into a PF version of Tony Allen with less defense.

CJ may need to work on his lob passes...
