Game Thread GAME# 79: BLAZERS @ NUGGETS - APRIL 5, 2019 - FRIDAY, 7:30 PM, ESPN & NBCSNW

This game highlights why the Nuggets wont go past the second round in the playoffs, not that we will either, and thats their D can be schemed against and you can find open shots pretty easily against it and offensively they are amazing when Jokic is going but can jokic do this in the playoffs when teams only have to plan vs them. Our best player had one of his worst shooting games of the year, and we are missing our second and third best player and it was a close game until 30s left.

When people post before the game that it's a guaranteed loss and then have the nerve to complain about us losing. Does it really matter how we lost if you knew it was going to be a loss?

It's also sad how a certain couple people almost seemed happy and validated that Dame missed a free throw.

I'm not mad about this loss or that Dame had a bad game, it's his body language that bothers me and that he's not even trying to play better, his disinterested look, i thought we would be better prepared for the double teams against Lillard, but naw it's allways the same. It is so easy to take Lillard out of the game and beat us, but i'll wait till the Playoffs and hope he and the team can prove me wrong

Most of that was in the 2nd quarter when he was the only one doing anything and the rest of the team was getting crushed.

See, even if I disagree with it, (which I dont), I can respect this take. Well thought out, not trying to stir the pot, and you give him props when it's due. Criticizing Dame isnt the problem.

Lillard has carried this team on his back all season and especially after CJ and Nurk went down. He always shows up, it's just up to other players on the team to step their games up.

Sly all I said was Lillard is having a bad game and that’s the reason we are losing and ended up losing the game. @BonesJones is the one who riles folks up because of my criticism of Dame and then it goes to hell from there.

Everything I said was accurate I mean check out the stats. Kanter and Hood were amazing game was close all night yet our best player was trash that’s all I repeated. I don’t name call, I don’t put people down no none of that

I think the effects of no nurk and CJ are taking a toll on Dame emotionally speaking. Dame is still a star and can get buckets whenever he wants, but I think deep down he just knows that we had the potential for a good run in the playoffs and that was taken away from us with two injuries to our next best.
