Ayton to Portland , for Nurk & #23 works in a cap move. Saves the Suns some much needed cheddar, and they get a pick. Beggars can't be choosy. Ayton gets a new team to prove his ability and worth.
Bet on CP3 landing on the Heat this summer.
It was ok'd by Fanspo. I checked it. But maybe Fanspo is poppycock. That doesnt work cap wise. And I also don't want to be the dumb team that takes on Ayton on year two of his 34 mil/yr deal for his shoddy production. He gets paid double what Nurk does. Not worth it in this new CBA.
Boston, Lakers, bucks, New York, Miami, New Orleans, Chicago could have some new ideas now?Is CP3 really that attractive of a FA? Perpetually injured and ancient.
Honestly, the Suns probably need cheap players more than they need cap savings. Nurk/Nas/Keon for Ayton wouldn't be a terrible idea.Ayton to Portland , for Nurk & #23 works in a cap move. I would do it.Honestly, the Suns probably need cheap players more than they need cap savings. Nurk/Nas/Keon for Ayton wouldn't be a terrible idea.
If we good get Ayton for Nurk & 23, we'd be stupid not do do it.Ayton to Portland , for Nurk & #23 works in a cap move. Saves the Suns some much needed cheddar, and they get a pick. Beggars can't be choosy. Ayton gets a new team to prove his ability and worth.
Fixed this for you.If we good get Ayton for Nurk & 23, we'd be stupid not do do it.
Ayton is better than people realize. Yeah paid too much, but after ridding of Nurk and probably Simons and a few others it would be close to a wash.
Even Jimmy Buckets thinks Bam will be the reason then heat win it all, if they do. He knows you need a big physical player in the post. Ayton is very young still and does know how to ball. Needs a to develop some heart, effort, and improve his mental approach.
He’s 24, Nurk is 28.Fixed this for you.
Not sure what that has to do with anything...He’s 24, Nurk is 28.
It’s moves like that which might help keep Dame around?Honestly, the Suns probably need cheap players more than they need cap savings. Nurk/Nas/Keon for Ayton wouldn't be a terrible idea.
He’s overpaid for sure. But he’s probably the 5th/6th best center in the league now at 24.Not sure what that has to do with anything...
Ayton makes $30M
Nurk makes $15M
?He’s overpaid for sure. But he’s probably the 5th/6th best center in the league now at 24.
The whole reason Phoenix wants to get rid of him is because average starters like him getting paid 35 mil/yr is a massive burden to teams close to the apron. Having a contract like his on the roster will make it difficult to build depth around Dame. Why do we want to not only help Phoenix but take on their problem?I would do it.

I agree drastically under rated. Talent isn’t concern motor is but I think he’s worth the risk. I’d do Nurk/Ant future 1st or 23rd for him. Then keep the 3rd pickHe’s overpaid for sure. But he’s probably the 5th/6th best center in the league now at 24.
Agreed. Considering impact/talent/salary I would take all of those guys on that list before Ayton. If fans thought watching Nurkic was frustrating, watching Ayton would be equally or more infuriating. He has all the physical talent in the world, but is probably one of the lowest basketball IQ players in the league. And when he’s not engaged, he completely disappears.you think so after you gauge impact and salary?
Joel Embiid PHI
Nikola Jokic DEN
Karl-Anthony Towns MIN
Bam Adebayo MIA
Anthony Davis LAL
Domantas Sabonis SAC
Jaren Jackson Jr. MEM
Evan Mobley CLE
Myles Turner IND
Brook Lopez MIL
Jarrett Allen CLE
Jonas Valanciunas NO
Rudy Gobert MIN

Clint Capela ATL

I'm not a Nurkic fan but I think I'd rather him at 18M/year than Ayton at 34M/year
also, I'm really skeptical the penny-pinching Vulcans would agree to Ayton

That's fine.?
I wouldn't put him in my top 10.
He is overpaid for sure. But look at the potential for the young 24 year old, same age as Ant.you think so after you gauge impact and salary?
