Prince would hopefully build a defensive minded roster like the 00s Pistons

lmao woj in shambles. his best source in the league is gone. im expecting a scathing rebuke of the ownership group coming soon.
either is cool
god this shit needs to die. i do not want Ainge at all. What is with some of you people and local dudes, man?
you really think they fire him because of one loss, and not a month-long investigation involving nearly the entire basketball ops staff including players/ex-coaches/etc?
yes, that was entirely Ainge's doing.A team he assembled won a title. What more do you want?
memphis has been hitting on nearly every single draft pick the past few yrs, even late first round ones. they also made a decent coaching hire and are building a great team of the future.Brent Barry would be my choice. Though, it's partly because of my ignorance towards Prince in how he would assemble a roster. Does he have experience or any attributes that would lend itself to being a quality GM?
yes, that was entirely Ainge's doing.
people really believe this-- this is crazy.he traded for Garnett and Allen? This is a weird hill to die on…

but their defense has been very subpar this season with largely the same roster they had last year.
i like that chauncey and tayshaun have a connection though. that synergy between coach/FO has proven to be important.

that would make sense if they thought this news was going to be received poorly. the city has been on pins and needles waiting for this announcement for a month now.sorry for confusion....I meant the timing of the announcement
I'd think Seattle has known the results of the investigation for a while and was probably going to fire Olshey at some point. 12 hours after a 31 point home loss to a 6-14 team may have been optimal timing
assistant GM.I honestly didn't know he was the GM for Memphis. Good stuff. Thanks.
Go back and read up on how KG ended up in Boston and who the head of bball ops was in Minny.Wasn’t he the GM…? What do you know that we don’t?
yes, that was entirely Ainge's doing.
this happened 14 yrs ago.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007–08_Boston_Celtics_season#Summary
Started with Paul Pierce and scrubs.
Became GM.
Traded for Ray Allen
Traded for Kevin Garnett
Signed Sam Cassell
Won a Title.
Yeah, none of that was on Aigne's watch.
If Olshey had built a championship Blazer team, think this would have happened? I suspect this was all just a way to get rid of him and his lousy winning percentage as a GM.
Can someone please check on @sheed30 to make sure he is ok with this news.
Pssstttt. This is a joke Sheed30. All in good fun.

i feel like some of you just have blinders on about Ainge's competence.
he also leaked to the media every potential deal he could have made. he is despised by players throughout the league.HE DID SOMETHING. Unlike Olshey.
In the years after Boston's title win, Ainge kept trying. He didn't stagnate. He kept trying to use what he had to make his team better. He wasn't scared.
And with am entitled fanbase like Boston's pissing at his every move.
