You guys are so stupid...this is like seeing your favorite boxer get into a fight, but before the fight you find out the opponant has a broken right hand and a broken foot, and that fighter takes your favorite boxer 9 rounds and loses by a small decision. Sure you "won", but that victory doesn't mean shit.

In your boxing analogy, it means that my favorite boxer is one match closer to a title shot, and I'll hope he trains for and executes better in the next fight.

In real life, it means that this team gets to move on to the next round. They get to reset and switch gears to play a new team, one to whom they're almost guaranteed to lose, but whom they've already beaten once, so who knows what might happen.

Live in the moment, and appreciate the good. If you insist on focusing only on insufficiencies, you'll never be satisfied with anything.

Bro, we don't even have a complete team. No one (Kingspeed doesn't count) thought we would win more than 34 games. The fact that we are even in the playoffs is a huge plus!

You are witnessing something amazing this year. We've played well without a full squad.

This is the first team in years that improved through the season and you could anticipate a win in the Play Offs.
Sweet! Blazers in Six!

Give the Blazers credit for taking advantage of the opportunity. They are the franchise that has dealt with a myriad of injuries and even though Paul and Griffin were out, Reddick was hobbled, Rivers could only see out of one eye at the end and Jordan turns his ankle late....you still have to take advantage.

Got to give credit where credit is due. Props to the refs tonight! I think this crew was far and away the best I have seen in a while. I thought they did a pretty damn good job letting Doc rant, then ignoring him.

Dude should have had at least one tech.

The reality is that the Clippers still have good players who have won in the playoffs. These young Blazers have, what, one guy that's ever won a playoff series? You just can't underestimate how hard it is to finish a team off in the playoffs when you've never been there and they have. Maybe if CP and Blake were healthy we'd have seen the Clippers finish off the Blazers tonight, but injuries are a part of the game. This is like saying the Warriors championship last year meant nothing because Irving and Love were out for the Cavs. I mean, it's just kind of a weak argument that looks at basketball as a video game rather than as a reality with men who have put months and years of effort into this one night. To say that this should have been easy is disrespectful to those Clippers players who absolutely battled tonight and also to the Blazers who kept fighting and finally were able to finish off a team playing with nothing to lose.

Ugh. I thought I'd be hyped about winning and closing out this series. But I'm just relieved. Stotts blows. Trade Aminu for anything you can get. Winning is always better than losing, but that didn't feel nearly as good as I thought it would.

I find losing is far and away a bigger emotion than winning.

I like to win, but I freaking HATE to lose........especially to an LA team.

I thought they got kinda lost in make-up calls . . .

Great experience tonight. The Moda Center crowd is THE BEST. I didn't see any Clippers fans, which was cool. The crowd starts legit Defense and Beat LA cheers without being prompted by the Jumbotron. You really feel like you make a difference by cheering for the team all game. It was exhausting but worth it. And I got to meet Fonz and Charcoal. Great night. Wish I could go to every game.

Go Blazers!

Nice to meet you as well.

I was in 105 and there were alot of autograph seekers that hung out over there for warmups. After tipoff, only saw one couple behind the bench cheering for the Clippers. Definitely do not have the traveling fans like the Lakers and Warriors. Expecting to possibly be outnumbered for game 3.

Winning this way bodes well for long term. Learning experience and a win? Beautiful... It actually made the win EVEN better... battle for those Ws, and they did!

Wish I wasn't in a hurry to get to Red robin, which is somewhat of a tradition when I attend Blazer games. Would have loved to talk more, but I know there's always next time. It was nice meeting you FAMS.

The Blazers should be proud of this accomplishment. Griffin and Paul being out does not tarnish this at all.

Here's a look at the Blazer squad:
Average age: 24.6
Regular Season Games: 3,908
Playoff Games: 152

Here's a look at the Clipper squad, minus Paul and Griffin:
Average Age: 29.2 (29.1 w/Paul & Griffin)
Regular Season Games: 6,314 (7,497 w/Paul & Griffin)
Playoff Games 509 (626 w/Paul & Griffin)

This was a deep, experienced Clipper team that the Blazers finished off.
