Who has been the most impactful Blazer in this series thus far?

Rivers/Crawford/Green are bench players. Perhaps they would win more games in a regular season than the 76ers, but no one would expect that crew to contend in the playoffs. And it's not like they played particularly well.

Jamal Crawford shot 19% from 3 this series, Austin Rivers shot 23%, JJ Redick, who reportedly had an injured heel, shot 35% (down from the 47% he shot this season). I know DeAndre Jordan was great, but why couldn't the Blazers, at full strength pull alway from that group? They played us even for the most part.

I'm just saying, if you face an opponent full strength, then you take away 2 out of their top 3 players, and barely beat them, you show that you had no chance against them at full strength.

If i were a Clipper fan, and the team barely beat the Blazers in a series without Damian and CJ I wouldn't gloat over that.
I just see this as a sign that we haven't hit our full stride yet. We're saving our best stuff for GSW.

Earlier, you said that for the 2 games paul and griffin were healthy.......etc...
Some reading comprehension please. That question was in response to this exchange.

Sleepwalker's nonsense response:
"I didn't realize Paul and Griffin got injured in game two."

We beat them, at full strength, in game three, and were leading them throughout game four, at full strength, prior to Paul's injury. We demonstrated before Paul got hurt and Blake went out that we had a chance against them at full strength.

If you want to take the most negative view possible, that's your prerogative, but the facts don't support your conclusion.

Would we have beaten the Clips at full strength in a 7 game series? I'd say the odds are that winning at least one away from Moda would have been pretty tough. A lot of people are certainly going to say that the Blazers' accomplishment is lessened by Paul and Griffin being sidelined. On the other hand, the Clips had depth and plenty of other good players. Crawford and Rivers put up numbers that they wouldn't normally do and nearly pulled one out last night. A team can only play the opponents who are available to play. The Blazers won the series and move on. If they make a good showing against the Warriors they can do a lot to silence the doubters. Either way, I don't give a crap what anyone says. The Blazers have shown that they deserve to be in the playoffs and have demonstrated to free agents that this is a desirable place to sign in the off-season. That's a huge accomplishment that will help this team get even better in the future.

Well, they blew us out by 20 in game 1 and 2, we beat them at full strength in game 3, and we were a little bit ahead in game 4 when Paul and Griffin got hurt, then pulled away after they left. So perhaps we would have won that game if they hadn't. But game 5 and 6 were very close and I don't believe we would have one those if they had Paul.

Not sure how Sinobas is getting so much flack for the game statements that at basic fact. Paul got hurt midway through game 4 and Griffin later that game so they weren't at full strength for that game since a game is referred to as a whole. Yes they were at full strength for the 1st half of that game but not the full game. Why the grief? Now if people want to debate how it would have gone if they had stayed in the whole game, that can be conjectured all day.

Believe me....if Dame and CJ had gone out in the 2nd half of a very close game and we had gone on to loose, Blazer fans would say we weren't at full strength for that game.

Wrong. Those guys were hurt during game 4.

You are right, I was thinking of this post that was defending your position, and not something you posted personally. I was going from memory.
Sinobas isn't wrong here.

Without their best players each game came down to the wire. A gutted Clippers team with Rivers as your go-to guy isn't a fair fight.

The two games where CP3/Griffin were healthy they beat this Blazer team by 20+

What is the problem? Defense. Their guards attacked and were relentless.

Great experience for this young team. Hell yeah!

At the final buzzer, as we clinched the series and the confetti fell; I was waiting for CJ to turn and point at Glenn Rivers, with a knowing smirk on his face.

[Of course we all know this would never happen. CJ is a class act, and above such actions, but a part of me would have loved to have seen the look on Glenns face]

The youngest team in the playoffs won a playoff series.
That team has the lowest payroll in the entire league.
That team is us.

If we weren't at full strength and lost I'd still be very happy. Why?
Because we're clearly on the way UP, and the Clippers are clearly on the way DOWN.
If we're even close at this point, it is very bad news for them.

The Clips and their fans understand this - they may be blowing it up as Paul and Griffin are FAs next year. I could totally see Paul leaving for Cleveland at that time. As anathema as it is to their fans, the Clips need to seriously consider trading Paul. We don't have that problem.

Hopefully theres another youtube of this game so I can watch the Clippers broadcast team go from "No way the blazers make the playoffs" to "The blazers just knocked us OUT of the playoffs."

Karma.
I sat right behind them, I could lean over and touch them. I said "so much for not even sniffing the playoffs" and they said nobody thought you were, and that they were getting hammered for those comments. Haha I would scream defense right in their ear and they would bring their mikes into their chests haha. Soo loud, an incredible experience

Now i really wanna see this! haha.

Nhawz doing gods work!

Were you sitting there all series? Somebody was really hounding Doc Rivers in game 4, and I'd love if that was you.

Sinobas is getting flack for calling the rest of us stupid because we celebrate. If someone says I am mistaken we can debate the facts but say we are all stupid there is nothing to discuss. How can we stupid people have anything to say?

The WW article was good but writer doesn't know the difference between its and it's.

No I wish, had those seats for last night only. After Jordan hit those two free throws right after the half, doc winked at me and said "I worked with him on those at halftime" haha. He actually interacted with the fans quite a bit and was having a good time with it. I can honestly say that Austin whines and bitches to the officials more than he does. At one point in the second half doc was getting in the refs and Austin goes "dad, it's all good, chill out" haha I was like did he just call him dad haha

Hahaha dick
True. I'll accept that. That wasn't meant in a bad way, just so you know. You're like a good looking Steve Blake without the weird ears. Honestly though, thanks for sharing. That sounds like a damned amazing experience. From the broadcast, I could see Doc interacting with fans and was curious what was going on.

I know man, I was giving you a hard time. It really kind of changed my perception of him. He was actually pretty enjoyable. Real friendly banter back and forth. He actually came out and said after game six, he really enjoyed the fans, and you could tell he did. Austin on the other hand was a whiny bitch, and could tell he was raised with a silver spoon.
