I wouldn't worry under Obama or G.W. Bush. But they were also just as corrupt and culpable for America's current situation as Trump is.
No. They were not. You aren't taking how dangerous Trump is seriously.

He is literally an active agent against US interests. Regardless of if that's deliberate or not. Neither Bush or Obama were close. Nor is Biden for that matter.

They are bad leaders, for sure (capable, yet, corrupted by a corrupt system). They are sellouts for sure. But Trump is so much worse he should be tried and convicted of treason. In fact, I wish he would be.

Do you seriously think he'll even still be in office this time next year?

Anyone who has watched a relative fall to dementia knows the speed and finality of it's effects.

His imminent exit is guaranteed, all efforts are focusing on how to prevent Harris or Pelosi from seizing power.
Doesn't matter. He's not worth caring about one way or the other. I mean, on a personal level I feel bad for his family... But politically it doesn't matter.

Lol

There is no reason why Harris wouldn't take over if Biden does leave office before his term ends. That's how the constitution works.

You mean the Republicans are going to go against the constitution? Say it isn't so. What are they going to say, she can't be president because she's a black woman?

Oh, they will try to pull the her dad wasn't born in the US so she isn't qualified bullshit. She was born here. She is a citizen. That shit didn't work against Obama, it won't work against Harris.

Um.... aside from the fact that the president is not showing dementia to anyone who listens to him and not commentary on OAN...aside from the fact that if anyone is showing dementia it's Trump and Giuliani...we have a little thing in the United States called the Constitution. That sets out order of succession. Vice President followed by Speaker of the House. It's not a power grab. I'm sorry, well actually not really, but the Constitution does not replace a president with previous office holder. Or is the Constitution also fake news?

Biden gets us back to somewhere between Dubya and Obama...

Ahh, the Deep State's finest accomplishment.

The Great Recession. The most successful Oligarch-creating, poverty-multiplying, money-laundering scheme to ever come to fruition.

Looks like Bernie hacked Biden's account.

If it actually happens. Manchin is already talking about killing the whole infrastructure bill. Even if he doesn't, that doesn't mean that corporations won't have their cronies in D.C. gut the portions of the bill that hurt their pocketbooks.

If it does actually all go through, as is. I will praise Bernie, and not Biden. As it is, it is Bernie who is the driving force behind anything "progressive" Biden might do anyways. Biden is too far to the right to be progressive.

Damn, have you been attending our regular Wednesday night meetings? Ia that how you caught on to our evil deep state?

How The United States Ended Up With Two Right-Wing Parties.

Biden clearly isn't a union man.

Democrats are actively resisting the left.

Im not opposed to off shore drilling.
Have I misinterpreted the article?

Why aren't you opposed? You're an outdoors person. Some of those areas do not need more oil wells.

We have the oil we need so we don't need to import it. Why destroy our greatest resource, other industries, and our health so we can sell oil to others?

Haven’t we been importing recently from Mid East? Or Eastern Europe?
I want to be self sufficient and we shouldn’t have to import. Does all off shore production get exported?
I dont favor doing away with all fossil fuel either.

If Joe Biden fails this week, his entire domestic agenda is done for at least 15 months

(CNN)It's impossible to overstate the stakes of this week's legislative horse-trading for the remainder of Joe Biden's presidency. In fact, what happens this week on Capitol Hill will almost certainly make or break Biden's entire first-term legislative agenda -- and determine the case he and his party can take to voters in the 2022 midterms and beyond.

First, let's set the scene.
There are two pieces of legislation moving through Congress -- both chambers of which are controlled by Democrats -- at the moment:

1. The bipartisan Infrastructure bill:

This $1.2 trillion legislation, which is focused on so-called "hard" infrastructure like roads, bridges and the like -- has already passed the Senate, with 19 Republicans joining all 50 Democrats to support it. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has previously promised Democratic moderates that she will bring the measure up in the House on September 27 (next Monday) and they are aggressively working to hold her to that promise. Meanwhile, liberals in the House have balked at voting for the hard infrastructure bill unless and until they have a vote on a much broader package of government spending -- upwards of $3.5 trillion -- that the party plans to attempt to pass on a purely partisan basis.

2. The budget bill:

Liberals in the House -- like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Pramila Jayapal of Washington -- don't want to vote for the infrastructure bill unless and until they can ensure passage of the much-larger budget bill, which effectively crams all of Biden's first-term priorities on everything from climate to jobs to immigration and back into a single measure. The problem? Democrats in the Senate don't have the 50 votes they need to pass anything close to a $3.5 trillion package. Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (of Arizona) and Joe Manchin of West Virginia have made clear they will not vote for a measure with that high a price tag, with Manchin suggesting less than half that total might be workable. The other problem? Liberals including Bernie Sanders of Vermont want the package to be even bigger, seeing this as their best chance in a very long time to put a truly progressive vision in place. (CONTINUED)....

Dems Deserve Midterm Shellacking for Biden's Lies.

If Biden keeps on this path of not delivering to Americans, he will lose to the republicans in 2024. This should scare all democrats.

President Biden has hit a rough patch. His credibility is sinking fast. Some of it is his inabilities and some isn't. But he's the man at the top so he takes the hits. Just my opinion, but he's been a moderate and is now far left and I think he's been pushed into it by the party leaders. Just too old to stand up to them. Told who his VP would be. Told who most of his appointees would be... I think if he were 10 years younger, he'd be more his own man.

What has he done that is far left?
