Biden Record High Disapproval, Doubles Down On "Pandemic Of The Unvaccinated' Amid 1M Daily Cases.
Lead America and your polls numbers go up. Be a useless piece of crap to America and your poll numbers tank. You would think this would be a simple concept to get.
Joe is honest and pissed off. Great Historical Speech!
At least Youtube has it. I'm glad you appreciate him.I wish it had been in prime time.
It's been one year and the first thing biden did was deal with vaccines and boosters as well as rebuilding trust with our allies overseas....dealing with China and Russian aggression and consulting with allies in the Pacific Rim and trying to pass an infrastructure bill that is getting resistance over child tax credits, etc.......it takes 7 years in office to actually implement most policy change or introduce new legislation.....and Joe came into office facing a large contingency of MAGA idiots denying the legitimacy of his presidency.....I'd say he's done quite a juggling act for the first year given the mountain of problems he inherited. 40 million americans lost jobs under Trump and that affected homelessness as well as things like the tens of thousands of people who lost homes from wildfires and floods, etc........one year he's been in office....I'm going to let him get on with the job and not envy him the task at hand. The problems facing the country are immense. If someone can point to any of the multiple crises America is currently going through, that Biden has actually fixed. I might be able to see your side of the story. Problem is, Biden isn't fixing any of them. The homeless are still piling up. American workers can't get a living wage... from either party. Etc, etc, etc. . The problems are numerous, and Biden isn't fixing them.
Beyond that, you follow the same lying, uncaring, unfeeling people that the republicans follow.

Nationalism hasn't fueled business over most of my lifetime....China and the US have always been the biggest trade partners on the planet...it's why they are world powers....if not China it would be Brazil or Africa or any number of places....many companies have factories in Mexico....Canada....Harley Davidson is in Europe now but that's not president forcing jobs overseas..that's profit and international businessmen sending jobs overseas...this isn't a partisan issue...it's global economics.....when american young people start working the lettuce fields and factory lines get back to me....my wife worked in a factory in Eugene Oregon making disaster relief equipment and the company couldn't find Americans to hire.....seriously..the place hired hundreds of green card holders although at that time my wife was a citizen....there's nothing wrong with poor people around the world having jobs the same as here at home....starting a trade war with China was Trump's dumbest move...they went from trade partner to military expansion and forming a Russian, N Korean, Iranian alliance......that's all that accomplished. Right now we're communicating with equipment that was probably mostly made overseas....I don't have a problem with that at all. Never have. I like imported goods too.And both parties brought us to this point. America's supply chain stretches all the way to China. The place they sent American jobs. You know, American jobs hat helped make America "great". Biden isn't bringing those jobs back, he helped to send them there. So, Biden literally helped to create more of a homeless problem at this current point in time, than Trump did in his four years in office.

What should bother us are the tax shelters overseas wealthy people use to avoid taxes.
Since you are from Eugene area do you know the Rears family?Nationalism hasn't fueled business over most of my lifetime....China and the US have always been the biggest trade partners on the planet...it's why they are world powers....if not China it would be Brazil or Africa or any number of places....many companies have factories in Mexico....Canada....Harley Davidson is in Europe now but that's not president forcing jobs overseas..that's profit and international businessmen sending jobs overseas...this isn't a partisan issue...it's global economics.....when american young people start working the lettuce fields and factory lines get back to me....my wife worked in a factory in Eugene Oregon making disaster relief equipment and the company couldn't find Americans to hire.....seriously..the place hired hundreds of green card holders although at that time my wife was a citizen....there's nothing wrong with poor people around the world having jobs the same as here at home....starting a trade war with China was Trump's dumbest move...they went from trade partner to military expansion and forming a Russian, N Korean, Iranian alliance......that's all that accomplished. That is not what I said at all but you've formed an opinion about presidential corruption that in the case of Joe I don't agree with.....if business places make you pee in a bottle...don't work there is my advice if its an issue....I just don't think the american worker is a victim of poverty over political policy.... there are help wanted signs all over my town....jobs are everywhere. Price gouging has fucked American workers....like I said....kids here don't graduate high school and make a career picking lettuce which we badly need workers to do...it's the same all over the globeYou seem to be telling me that you literally don't care that they fucked American workers. But, of course, that doesn't make sense. So, I am sorry, but I can't see your point.
Edit: See what our government allows corporations to get away with, and you will see their corruption. At Amazon you may end up peeing in a bottle to avoid being docked pay, for doing a normal bodily function. I wonder when the last time anyone here had to pee in a bottle during their job. And I don't see Biden going after Bezos over his inhumane business practices.
She worked making tents and firefighters protective gear and I'm not familiar with that family.....the factory was near the DMV in Eugene.Since you are from Eugene area do you know the Rears family?
Was it Jaws of Life your wife worked for?
I did business with Rears Manufacturing of Eugene, for 40 plus years. Family owned Ag Sprayer Mfg.She worked making tents and firefighters protective gear and I'm not familiar with that family.....the factory was near the DMV in Eugene.

It was supply and demand that got Nixon repairing our relationship with China.....and it was good for both countries....what we deal with now is copywrite infringement and their cheap labor force...and as I said...Americans are spoiled by consumer goods nobody would make if there wasn't some demand...also show me americans making shoes that are affordable and guitars that a young person can afford to buy to use for work......we price gouged our own consumer goods and priced ourselves out of the competition in many fields....I think global trade is healthy but greedy business practices are not but I don't look to political leaders to change the landscape....I look to business folks to hold themselves accountable.....the American farmer lost it's biggest customer for farm products with this trade war so Trump gave them an 18 billion dollar bailout for the loss of income.....the farmers feed the world, not just America. In the 60s poor students and workers needed an affordable car....Germany gave them the VW bug....it filled that need.If I remember correctly, it was Nixon that got trade with China up and running. So this doesn't seem to ring true.

I'm saying we have trade partners....and I'm saying Americans don't line up for low paying labor jobs here at home....it's the law of supply and demand and people all over the world are doing low paying jobs that end up making shit that's being sold here in the States.......I've lived overseas and believe me....American goods are way overpriced everywhere....we have not been competitive in manufacturing since the 1950s and that Clinton computer boom at first. The key phrase in your post is jobs Americans used to do.....like farming....factory work.....making shoes...Taiwan leads the world in computer chips and computer displays...everybody buys from Taiwan....not because we ship jobs there but because they are very good at doing what they do....again ....supply and demand. ...America doesn't need "enemies" overseas....we have them right here at home....and Chinese citizens don't make up their labor force either...Phillipinos and Malaysians, etc....are their versions of what we called cheap Mexican labor...this is not exclusive to America and I think maybe nationalism is more important to you than international relations or trade. Nationalism is a destraction from Capitalistic classism in my view.greed...our wealthiest business people have money in banks all over the globe.....and currency in many forms. it's not us against China...China doesn't want us as an enemy either...that was fueled by a fake nationalistic bluster propped up by Trump in his first campaign.....we have issues with them but it's worse because of our sabre rattling from right here in the States....hopefully all that will calm down moving forward. I was born in America with low paying wages....we didn't import low paying jobs...our business people did that for us right at home..now with rampant price gouging the dollars aren't stretching....that's our own damned fault ...China has human rights issues ....guess what...we do too. Today I went to town and they are hiring everywhere.....if you want a job you can have one Also if you want to start a business here and pay good wages with benefits....that's great...people should go out and do just that .Countries overseas create their own companies independant of American presidents or policies.....Japan and Germany are perfect examples of modernized industries that thrived after utter poverty and destruction of WWII...I'm just going to agree to disagree with the international trade war and it's implications for now....What you literally seem to be saying is, you don't care that we shipped American jobs to... America's enemy, and now Chinese citizen's are working jobs that American citizens used to do.
So, it is fine that we brought low wage jobs to America, and now Americans are becoming poorer?

The Chinese govt makes owning a factory there a risky proposition because they can basically steal your business from under you and send you home...they just did this with some overseas companies....if you get politically on their bad side, they'll blackball you there. On the other hand a designer I knew in N California designed a unique computer stand that he took to Apple and they said no....then shortly after came out with his design slightly altered to look different but based on his idea....business can be cutthroatI spent career with a major Mid West Mfg thats been around for nearly 120 years. We had plants and foundries in Milwaukee metro that back in the mid 80's employed nearly 10K people. All union workers that multi generation families work at over the years. Over time we moved numerous plants to Souther States close to large customers and lower cost of doing business as the Unions made it tough to keep the work force in Wisconsin. At that time also our manufacturing process went to focus factories and JIT as Japan had already done. The Japanese were producing high end products at, more than competitive pricing as the exchange favored them for years. Then they didn't have that advantage so much and they started moving MFG from mother Japan to the States in order to compete in our markets. Then the Chinese were aggressive in copying American products and competing in price point segments. From an International standpoint we have several joint venture plants in China primarily for addressing Asian markets, needed a presence there to spring board into Asian markets. American Mfg's were not able to own 100% of factories or distribution centers had to be a joint venture with a Chinese company of which they leveraged the heck out of.
Chinese are allowed to own 100% of operations, in the USA. The Chinese government like Japan, subsidizes their industries and calls most of the shots on commerce.
American Manufactures can now compete in many markets as long as they watch the cost of goods made, sold, and have superb service to back their products.
After unprecedented layoffs and unemployment the year before because of lockdowns and demolition of small businesses. Context helps sometimes. What does it tell you when even after the “highest job growth in 40 years” the employment rate is still lower than two years ago? Hmmm there must have been a drop somewhere…2021 had highest job growth in 40 years.
dead people don't get jobs? covid made many take retirement earlier than they might have? After unprecedented layoffs and unemployment the year before because of lockdowns and demolition of small businesses.
