I had one tell me to my face that if I went to church on sunday i was going to hell. Then he said i have 1500 acres in eastern oregon and Ill let you have 10 of them as i was going through the tribulation and needed a place to build a fortress for those that didnt make it. He was dead serious bout all of it. I told Im already in Heaven got the sexiest wife and a place in Hawaii to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

We're pretty much creating a situation where no one outside of really rich, can afford to buy a home anymore.

A friend of mine bought her house for 60K about 9 years ago. It's about 850 square feet, 3 bedroom 1 bath, and not really well kept (no fault of hers). And furthermore, it's in a not so nice part of Portland. And now? It's now worth 400K.

Side note though. It was originally listed at 200K when it was first listed, and sat for 2 years before it finally sold for 60K.

Its just not a realistic market anymore. And sadly, it won't be again.

Just heard that, in our neighborhood, an elderly couple offered $100k cash over asking asking price...and didn't get the home. It's the craziest times us realtors have seen in a very long time.....if not ever.

My cousins bought a shack at the coast, for half a million. The only reason why they were able to get it, and not the *cash* offer someone else had given the owners, was because they promised not to tear it down and instead promised to restore it.

I don't think I know many people who have half a million dollars in cash.

This is a direct result of how the FED is manipulating our economy.
This is anything BUT a free-market system.

Tennessee Defies Joe Biden's Gun Control Push with No-Permit Law (msn.com)......Mistake. Normal people may like to tout concealed handguns. However, when they stress out beyond limits and take these weapons into the population, that's when the death messenger appears. How about the PTSD vets who re create their nightmares? How about gangs that rob these unsuspecting women and men of their guns? Home defense is where this should end. I'm not trusting anyone with handguns on their person unless they are accountable as within law enforcement personnel. Lunatics in Texas and especially Colorado are approving the actions of Governor Lee.

Murderers and mass shooters conceal their weapons regardless of what’s “legal”. Murder is also illegal they seem to be ok with breaking that law. Regular sane people don’t morph into psychopaths as soon as they have a gun on their side. Concealed carry makes no difference in anything really, other than there may be a few more people around able to stop the actual crazy person who starts popping off.

The part about the implication that it was all the fault of the ATF. They had a problem where it looked like that bastard might be keeping the children as sex slaves as he was the adult women. Time was of the essence and the bastard would not allow anyone to leave even as the place burned.

I appreciate your view. There are many ways to look at this important issue. I just don't like an unsettled dude with an armed locked and loaded Glock next to me in a super market, movie theater or assembled event.. If a crazy dude pops off, is the concealed weapons person there to stop him? What are the odds, is the question for everything. This country is no longer land of the free, home of the brave. It's a country of polarized people, politicians and insane asses.

I’d probably be ok with legislation saying concealed weapons need to be FULLY concealed in public spaces. I understand there are plenty of people who are put on edge at the sight of firearms.

It's harder to conceal a rifle than a pistol.
