I wonder if the Blazers would have tried to get in the discussion for Luka if they had a chance?

Portland is a junior training ground for players.
Like Giannis said "all the big stars should go to big markets"

They did, and they will both need to get paid big bucks in a couple years. If they decide this is where they want to be.What promising young player did the Blazers trade away lately?
seems like they actually traded FOR a couple young promising players in Camara and Avdija.

I wish there was some legit Blazer trade rumors to be excited about.
Which team doesn't have a history of trading away good players? The Blazers have had a history of developing players and trading them away or letting them walk only for them to have good careers elsewhere. Can't keep players here long enough to build anything.
Seems like maybe that's changing now, but we are probably about to trade away Simons who we have developed into a good player and the revolving door will continue.
F No, I'd much rather have Jimmy.Would anybody consider this trade if it allowed movement of one of our guards down the road.View attachment 70795
FodderThen why have teams in small markets?
Well if that’s the case then the NBA should actually consider having two leagues one for big markets and one for small markets.Like Giannis said "all the big stars should go to big markets"
Seriously, I'd rather have Jimmy even if he didn't re-sign. There's have to be two FRPs coming back to us for us to give the Suns Jimmy and for us to take on Beal's contract. I would do it for two of the Suns shitty FRPs. Yeah, I'd give up Ant and Jerami and take on Beal's shitty contract but they'd have to give us two firsts that are almost guaranteed to be very late firsts.F No, I'd much rather have Jimmy.
Lol... glad you're not the GM. Smh.Yeah, I'd give up Ant and Jerami and take on Beal's shitty contract but they'd have to give us two firsts that are almost guaranteed to be very late firsts.
Exactly. However, I'd want 1 frp and Kalel Ware, who I think would be the perfect backup to DC.Seriously, I'd rather have Jimmy even if he didn't re-sign. I don't think that would be too hard, resignation seems to be Ingram's default setting.I would rather take a chance on trading for Brandon Ingram and hope we could get him to resign than trading for Beal.
Thank God for Beal's no-trade clause!Would anybody consider this trade if it allowed movement of one of our guards down the road.View attachment 70795
Kel'el Ware is one of those players who'll be insanely overvalued by his team right up to the point at which they cut him.Exactly. However, I'd want 1 frp and Kalel Ware, who I think would be the perfect backup to DC.
I wouldDo the Blazers take on Kuminga and pay him?
