It’s weird. I’m pretty connected with someone. Now what I hear doesn’t always happen, OBVIOUSLY, but so far I have heard absolutely nothing this year. It’s why I joked that it probably means something big, but I’m beginning to think nothing more than minor stuff. Cronin wants to move some pieces, but the Vulcans want wins. The good news is that wanting wins could mean sale at some point?
 
Most of Cronin's moves have been surprises so I'm not gunna let him surprise me this time by expecting at least two of Ant Grant Timelord Tisse traded by the deadline

A lot of the players that seemed to make sense were already moved somewhere else. I'm thinking now we're standing pat, because I have no idea who still would be interested in some of our vets. The only thing I still could see is Ant to Orlando, but for what?

You said they would trade him for assets. I said they won't as he'll stay in his same role as a minimum salary backup that will be a free agent.

Fans will love that. Hopefully there is enough support that the new owners can't use it as an excuse to move the team.

This FO seems to be decent at not leaking I guess? We didn't hear about the Deni trade, nor did we think Milwaukee was on the table for Dame before those happened.

Those 3 firsts the Suns got are much weaker than the single unprotected first they sent out. I'd still probably do the swap for one of those first, but they're very weak firsts.

The Suns basically traded a dollar for 3 quarters. There was much speculation that the 3 items would be easier to complete a Butler trade, obviously they weren't able to do that.

Nurk coming back here would be kind of hilarious. You'd think there might be a 3rd team with a similar dead weight contract that both Nurk/Blazers would prefer. I can't imagine Nurk happily backing up Ayton or teaching Clingan.
 
I think Cleveland wants a wing to replace caris lavert, it will be hard to match salary with JG, but something like JG and DR for lavert and Struss works

Yeah if we can get off of Grant contract I'll be super happy with the deadline.

Some posters here would want us to get a pick from Cleveland. Ultimately I'd happily pull the trigger on that deal you mention with no picks.

Trade/release all the same so yes it still sorta does.

Yeah that would seem like an overpay for the Cavs and we'd need to free up some roster spots if we kept all three.
