2 in need of major overhaul from the ground up, 1 in need of asylum outside the US....
the future will be more than interesting to see, as both parties will imo, fail to re-define their parties in the context of their original charters, ie the fundamentals both stood for, which some need restored. Old values should die hard, yet we've witnessed assasination of both parties within a very short time....
some would say this has been going on forever, yet I beg to differ. Even with a GOP Potus and Lib Congress, or vice versa, numerous presidents and congresses have proven to be competent and able to create sound policy and legislation, with bi-partisanship, one half from across the aisle, reaching out to the other to keep this naton running.
Never; (not until Clinton unzipped his pants), have both parties remained secluded, singularly dimensional, with a charter to always go against what the other want's or stands for....never have 2 parties crossed each other, with no intent to better this nation by working together, with an open mind, and not a one track agendae(s) in which few benefit....
as members of Congress, one would expect each to comprehend they are all in the same ship, one sinks they all sink. In this era, both have built their own 'border walls' to block out the other party. In decades back, differences often were put aside, to enable tax bills, budgets, basically enough to keep the nation running; and somewhat content. Tho' I'm not a fan of Lincoln, he knew he couldn't please everyone, but a potus or congress, can and should maintain a majority of team mates, otherwise they're just playing games, proving their incompetence, and further beliefs both parties are broken, in dire need of repairs to say the least. Or is an entire overhaul necessary, the million $$$ Q-....
