Way too early trade suggestions (4 Viewers)

That one is probably the most tempting one I've seen. McDaniels has been awesome this year. So much so that I really don't see the Wolves trading him. (But then I thought that about Washington and Deni, so...?)

Would seem to slightly fit that "Deni" mold of a younger guy that hasn't yet broken out/given the space to break out on his current team. I dunno if he would here either, but it sure is enticing to think about him and Camara being able to switch everything guarding the opponents two best players.

Given that the main thing the Bucks are getting is the picks from us, whereas the Wolves are getting the best player, if we could re-jig it so we get Randle and they get Jerami, would that be good? Randle fills a roster gap (low-post scoring) and he's shown that he can commit to defense. I feel we should also give the Bucks Yang, just as frosting on the cake.

no.

If we aren't getting Giannis, there is no incentive to give back the picks.

WHY THE FUCK ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS POTENTIAL TRADE IN TWO DIFFERENT THREADS?
merge this shit!
Yeah this thread was already made regarding all trades. The other thread is about if we want Giannis or not, I think has it's purpose. I am someone who hates having too many threads.

National writer's have had us on the short end of lopsided trades for many years. Some have been almost comical. It's lazy thinking and meant to ingratiate them with big market team's fan's.
One thing you have to give Cronin credit for is holding his ground and not caving to any pressure and accepting lesser trade packages. I hope that holds true in the future.
With that being said, I don't get the urgency of sacrificing the position we are in for a couple years of Giannis. For a long time fans were pissed about the situation the team was in. Now, with a very good young core, as well as a few veterans who can make big contributions, and a pretty good stash of future pics, people want to throw it all in on a couple years of contending...and that's not guaranteed. There's chemistry questions, age and health concerns, no coaching stability, new ownership on the way (which will be a positive), etc. Not the best situation to to try to make a splash move, that if unsuccessful, puts us back to square one after a couple decades of frustration finally put in the rearview mirror.

If something like this happens it’s because the NBA is such a players league and that the superstars control it.

I don't like it. We don't need to trade for another decent young guy. I mean, I like him but I don't like him more than Bridges and I wouldn't do that deal for Bridges either.

We need to make a trade for a star. Not another OK piece. All this does is make us younger while losing 3 potential lotto picks. Not worth the squeeze for me.

WUT?

Portland gives up Jrue + the Buck's 2029 first + Portland's 2030 first + the 2030 swap with the Bucks....for....Jaden McDaniels? Essentially Jrue and 3 first's for McDaniels....between McDaniels, Camara, & Deni, who becomes a backup?

ROCO part 2, only worse...geeeezuzzz
