Well.... if Scoot is gone at 2, maybe we won't trade Miller.

Predicted this.This is so weird.
Who else do you blame for offering that horrible trade?
Predicted this.
My read is Charlotte moving down in a three way with us or getting Zion/Ingram. Either way Scoot to NO.Money is POURING in on Scoot at #2 this morning. The odds for Miller to go #2 have dropped significantly.
if you accept a rumor as gospel true, then sure
I don't accept any rumor, from any source, as true right now. Guys like Fisher are spending 12-15 hours a day yapyapyapping about the tiniest bit of flotsam they see on the water. Their lives are recycling and regurgitating the whispers, speculation, and lies they hear. They are all Woj wannabe's and they are all trying way to hard to be considered insiders and experts
could Portland have offered the 3 for PG13? Sure. But how likely is it? Fisher is talking like it was the mighty Clippers who turned it down, with prejudice, after Portland came begging. I simply don't believe that's how it all occurred
Miller definitely simplifies things...A position of need is available with the third pick. They then have Grant/Miller/Sharpe and let Dame decide if it's him or Ant that plays PG and trade the odd man out to complete the roster.
In the short term, that's basically the decision. Where that becomes vastly less simple, is the Dame/Ant divergence is effectively a decision as to whether or not to completely overhaul the entire roster and trade your 53 year franchise's most marquee and influential player... A little less simple when you bake in the ramifications![]()
Yes, if it becomes some personal thing, it's complicated. It's why no business is run this way. It's my opinion that $176,265,152 covers the appreciation for his services, and now what is best for the team moving forward.

My thinking is there was more to it. That is why they said no.just trying to follow the logic in here...So, if the Clippers said no to a trade, we blame Joe? It's a horrible trade for Portland, and I can't imagine them offering it but want to understand the blame Joe part.
I’m perfectly fine with keeping the pick today. Depending on who we pick I would still like to see roster balance on positions with trading Ant and possibly Nurk. I’d also like to see the Chicago trade be finalized by either trading them a late first rounder, player or a few of our 2nd rounders which with new CBA should hold some value
