Girardi didn't challenge despite sanchez pleading he wasn't hit because he didn't want to upset the pitchers rhythm according to his postgame blathering bullshit. That was a no lose challenge in that situation.

Are you serious?? If the bunt wasn't on the runner doesn't take the lead he does so he makes it to third. I would have been happier if girardi didn't put the bunt on
...one omore time, ...whether or not a bunt has been signaled or not has absolutely no bearing on how far a runner ventures off the bag...he still faces the same odd of being picked off, by the pitcher or the catcher whether a bunt is missed or a pitch is swung and missed at.
He's still going to be here next year regardless with his binder, still blowing winnable games because his binder told him to not challenge or to pull a pitcher instead of using his eyes.Girardi is just getting destroyed on twitter and rightfully so
A loss like that gets managers fired. I've never seen a worse example of somebody who managed with absolutely no feel for the game.
Listen to girardi's postgame conference mess. All the yankee announcers and the postgame crew are killing him. Didn't want to break the pitchers rhythm. WTF
Your lost. It absolutely has an effect on a runner if a bunt is in effect as he needs to get a little better lead to get to third. Absolutely makes a difference
A ridiculous answer like that just makes matters worse. That's saying you accept loading the bases because of rhythm and not because your video people's information? That's lunacy.

...and I would have been happier if Torreyes hadn't made a bonehead base running error.

If you think a runner looking to get a good jump on a bunt takes the same lead off the base as a runner thats not stealing I don't know what to say about your baseball knowledge as the runner on base with an expected bunt coming up is definitely taking a bigger lead than a runner not stealing on a base
...you're right, you don't know what to say.
...the runner must make sure that the bunt is laid down safely.
Your explanation is completely wrong and your reasoning sounds like girardi's explanation of the non challenge. Just grasping for straws
Here's a question. Why is Torreyes even in the damn game at that point?.

The Indians are every good team but they have a huge advantage in managing. Francona is so much better than Girardi, it is not even close.
Hopefully to score on a base hit that frazier wouldn't be able to.
...even the guys on TV said Torreyes had too much of a lead...wanna dispute their "baseball knowledge" too?
...exactly what gives you the impression that you know so much more about the game than me or someone who played it professionally?
Frasier is not a slow runner. It made no sense. Plus, if they don't score there you pulled a guy on base four times in the game.
You and me both.Let the Mets have their turn with Girardi. At some point I was done with Torre (who had a ton more equity) and after this I'm done with Girardi.
Torreyes in the postgame interview said he took a larger lead than normal so he could get a good jump with the bunt. that more than anything contributed to him being off further than he normally would be if a bunt wasn't in play. I don't claim to have more knowledge than anyone. I took the time to carefully explain the play in question to show you that you were wrong. The guys on tv happened to agree with me with the bunch of girardi fuck ups this game.
Girardi says he didn't challenge because he didn't want to break Green's rhythm. What rhythm was that exactly Joe? By not challenging Green had just given up a double and then hit a batter to load the bases. So exactly what was Green doing that you didn't want disrupt?
