This is just so sad. Obviously he knew the planted question was coming and he still had to reference his notes after freezing up to answer it. 25th Amendment ASAP before this guy falls asleep on the nuclear button.

How did we end up with two dishonest, corrupt, and mentally daft presidents in a row? This can’t be the best we can do as a country.

For what it's worth Afghanistan is a sovereign nation and Joe doesn't dictate their response to theri own internal power struggles....they have their own president...Joe's right to say he doesn't have to think about the Taliban on independence day and the soldiers there have a chain of command that will respond to any of their concerns on base....you want to stop policing the world one way is to stop policing the world

Yeah I’ve got no idea. If you are going to wear a hat just for the purpose of making a statement how are you going to get upset when someone calls you out on it?

I mean I’ve had plenty of people say the 1977 hat I was wearing is a nice hat. Probably because it’s not a shitty hat like his. It’s funny he was looking at my hat the whole time like he was trying to figure it out.

I should have told him “yeah dude my hat rocks and your hat sucks”.

the over whelming majority of the shit they say about Biden is projection about what they know to be true about Trump. They just figure that they're pulling a fast one over everyone, but fail to understand that anyone who has an IQ above toe jam knows they're full of shit.
 
Biden has never been eloquent or charismatic. He does speak in complete sentences and has yet to tell us how great he is and how persecuted he is.

I can't stand Rachel Maddow, especially her voice. Don't like her mannerisms like the way she's constantly shuffling papers. Don't like the way she takes a seemingly half an hour to lead into a discussion on something. Much prefer All In with Chris Hayes.
 
Matter of taste, I love her indirect approach. Apparently others do as well as her show consistently is highest in viewership at her time slot.
 
If the Taliban defeats the nationalist security forces...then they aren't very good at national security....it's not our damned country..they have a right to their own leadership and no invasive presence will ever change that or ever has since the British Empire started to crumble....
 
I worry about what happens if/ when Taliban overrun Afghanistan. But if in over 20 years the government hasn't learned to stand on their own, should they be propped up forever?

I think it's a lost cause unfortunately ...those warlords there are like the Tauregs in North Africa...ancient blood feuds and territorial disputes...British bailed, Russians bailed....we need to bail...
 
If we would have held an MTV Real World there it would have shown them why the American way of life is superior.
 
The new Taliban generation will adapt much of what they have seen during American rule, including about women. Afghanistan won't be any different from other Muslim nations.

Key members of the new leadership are paid and controlled by American intelligence.

I do as well and we all know what will happen to women & girls that want to be educated and expressive.
