That is a poll, of which, we found are inaccurate due to the "Blue Wave" turning into a trickle. Now, I view polls as a insight mechanism rather than a true indicator of how people will vote or react.

Biden is about to slam the door on his presidency for me. Americans need that stimulus money right now, not weeks or months from now. Biden has the backing of Americans at 80% support for, he even has a few republicans on record for $2,000 checks. Biden has the political clout and backing right now to get $2,000 stimulus checks out the door. Biden has no excuse for not getting this done.

Biden made a promise for $2,000 stimulus checks if the democrats won Georgia. They won it and yet Biden has already dropped the stimulus checks to $1,400, even before the package makes it to the floor for debate. Sorry, but I find that pathetic. Broken promise, in your first days in office. Not the best way to start your presidency.

There is a reason I didn't support Biden in the primary. Same reason I didn't support Hillary.

Not as bad as Trump, but certainly more part of the problem than the solution.

i don't think you understand what the role of he president is.
 
also, i don't understand the need for direct payment stimulus checks for people who still have jobs. expand unemployment, help small businesses, stop evictions, raise minimum wage, figure out vaccine rollout, expand testing, start devising a plan for schools.

what need is there to put $2000 unnecessarily in hands of people who are already getting paychecks?
 
Is it ever possible for the Gov to provide a financial package without political pork?
Term limits and a restrictions on lobbyist contributions would help a ton.

What do you see as pork in the current package?

That said, it hasn't been passed yet so there is plenty of time for it to get porked up.
