“Empire Politician”: Joe Biden’s Half-Century Record on Foreign Policy, War, Militarism & the CIA

I posted this about a year ago. What a freaking liar Biden is.

Biden is a turd of a president. But such a vast improvement over what we had before that it's refreshing... I wish I had more faith in us getting somebody better next...

Biden never claimed to be a socialist. It's not lying to point out he favors capitalism. You can disagree but he hasn't said otherwise.

I see it as a sideways slide. We went from a loudmouth attention whore who used our media as his play toy. To a person with no personality at all. The problem for me is, both Biden and Trump are lying to us.

I make zero distinction between one liar and another liar. So, for me, they are both the same.

Has there ever been a president, czar, prime minister, any ruler, that hasn't lied? I don think so.

Good post. In this case, I think it's a case here of why has it taken POTUS long to sincerely address this "horrific" event affecting "American" citizens. I mean, speaking of swings and misses attributed by some in here.

It’s difficult to argue that Mr Biden has not been personally quiet concerning the ongoing situation in East Palestine; while his administration has responded with the deployment of federal agencies to the village and offerings of ongoing support, he only recently made a public statement addressing the disaster.

Since 3 February, the day the train derailed, Mr Biden has tweeted extensively about the war in Ukraine, met with Brazil’s president, boasted of accomplishments in employment, manufacturing, and infrastructure, given a State of the Union address, memorialised the University of Michigan mass shooting, offered condolences to the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, and congratulated the Kansas City Chiefs on their Super Bowl victory. He finally addressed the East Palestine situation on 21 February.

I agree to a certain extent. I mean it makes him look out of touch at least. I can’t stand the guy, but Trump knows what to do to appease people that want to SEE the president doing something even if it’s just performative.

Biden is a good man that respect the presidency and American traditions. But sometimes the president has to be an entertainer. The last Dem that understood this aspect of the job was Bill Clinton.

So you've never told a lie?...if you claim you haven't, that makes you a liar...if you admit that you have, that makes you a hypocrite.

During World War II Franklin Delano Roosevelt sent loyal Japanese Americans to internment camps, their property confiscated. His administration did almost nothing for desperate Jews trying to flee occupied Europe, despite the pleas of Eleanor Roosevelt. While profits soared, wages stagnated and he openly blocked strikes. African Americans were discriminated against in both military and civilian industry. His secretary of 20 years, who devoted her entire life to his service, was paid half what male secretaries earned.

I can see Road Ratt saying no difference between Roosevelt and Hitler and anyone who thinks so is full of shit.

This is simply a really bad excuse, as you seem to be literally saying: "It is no big deal, all politicians lie to us". Either that or you are exclaiming that you have no morals what-so-ever since you don't care whether your candidate/party lies to you or not.

You might want to rethink this argument. It clearly isn't a good one.

You seem to have all the answers when it comes to political commentary or views, and you are entitled to them, as I am. Im an independent that leans more liberal but I also have some moderate views. What is your position?

I'll ask again...who did you vote for in the last election? In my view if you didn't vote..you don't get to complain

Your assumption is the one that clearly isn't a good one...you're the one who painted himself into a corner on this topic, and once again when confronted and asked to bolster your position with a clear explanation or evidence, you instead either refuse/decline...should insults soon be expected?

Don't know how you can rationally expect for others to take you seriously.

I for one, am still waiting for you to answer whether you've ever told a lie or not?

Tulsi Gabbard Shocks Fox News Host by Comparing Biden to Hitler

Tulsi Gabbard on Friday made the wild claim that there’s a historical “connection” between Nazism and the diversity-minded personnel choices made by the Biden administration—a statement that Fox News host Jesse Watters couldn’t get behind.

Gabbard, who seemingly hasn’t missed a chance to bash the Democratic Party as a Fox News contributor since she announced her departure from it last October, said “identity politics” was one factor in her decision.

“You see how their agenda of identity politics is directly undermining the traditional democratic values that were expressed so beautifully and clearly by Dr. Martin Luther King: that we should judge each other not based on the color of our skin, but based on our character,” Gabbard said, citing what was recently dubbed “the right’s favorite MLK quote.”

“And yet…they are proud to be judging people, hiring people, selecting people based on race,” she continued, reminiscent of some conservative commentators’ disapproval of Biden’s pledge to nominate the first Black Supreme Court justice. “Let’s be clear how serious of a problem this is. It’s based on genetics, race, based on your blood, your genes; and where do we see that connection? Well, these are the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism and Adolf Hitler.”

Watters, likely sensing the inherent problem with Gabbard’s comment, followed up: “You are saying the focus on genetics is in a way similar to what was going on in Germany?”

Gabbard, who is no stranger to making comparisons between Biden and Hitler, made clear that this was no misstatement.

“You look at the core values and core principles of Adolf Hitler and Nazism. What is it based on? It’s based on genetics,” the former Hawaii congresswoman said.

“This is that philosophy of geneticism and discriminating against people based on their genes. And that’s the issue here really when you cut to the core of it. When they are standing there saying, ‘Hey, we are proud to be selecting people solely based on race,’ that is alarming to me on so many levels.”

Watters didn’t buy Gabbard’s comparison.

“I’m not sure about the German thing, but I think you are right on this point,” he said before sticking to a more palatable stance.

“They care about what the administration looks like, but they don’t care about what we look like. And we’re out here saying, ‘Hey, we need this, we need that,’ and they’re not even looking at us. They’re just looking at themselves.”

'Madness': Biden Requests Record $886 Billion Military Budget

"Continuing to throw this much money at weapons, war, and defense contractor profits is unacceptable," said one critic.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/biden-record-military-budget

Biden requests a record military budget while Americans sit on our sidewalks. I can't count on one hand the number of crises here in America, yet Biden has the gall to throw more money at the military.

This is why I don't believe his followers. Articles like this one proves that Biden gives more of a crap about serving his owners, than he does about Americans.
